as i start walking into the slytherin common room everyone goes silent and stares at me. i make my way for the stairs to my room until a gang of teenage guys who appear to be in their 6th year approach me.
"your names y/n, right?" "yeah. didn't you know?" "no i didn't." "weird. anyways is there something you needed??" i say trying to get away from the trio. "yeah there is. i want you to go on a date with me." the biggest guy says. "well i actually have a boyfriend so that wouldn't work out terribly well." i say trying to remain calm. "oh yeah? what's his name?" "that would be me and i want you to fuck off buddy." a voice from by the main doors says. all four of us look up to see a teenage boy with shoulder length black curly hair and stormy gray eyes. "oh sirius! hi darling what are you doing in here?" i say relieved but also concerned at the same time. "i wanted to see how you were settling in but it appears that you haven't gotten to that yet." he says with his tone becoming slightly menacing while glaring at the group of boys. he then starts making his way over to me and my heart starts beating really fast. like REALLY fast. he then pushes the boys aside and wraps his arm around my waist. "let's go upstairs, shall we love?" he whispers in my ear which sends shivers down my spine, then sirius leads me up the stairs to my room. "sirius that was perfect timing i was abou-" and then it happened. sirius black kissed me.
SIRIUS's POV:
after remus informed me of the "rules" about y/n and i dating, he went to the dorms to unpack and whilst he did so, i snuck down the corridors to the slytherin common room. y/n had told us marauders the password and i went in. i saw y/n is distress and when i heard her say "i have a boyfriend." i knew that was my time to shine. i then walked over to steal her away from the goons and led her up to her room. then she was about to thank me and i honestly couldn't control myself and then BOOM. i kissed her. immediately she kissed back and here we were, in a heated make out session on her bed. in her dorm room by ourselves. once we pulled away because there was a lack of oxygen going around, she just hugs me.
"i take it remus told you?" "yeah more or less... he also said i couldn't date you for two months but who am i to listen to the rules?" "i mean i'm not even surprised but dang two whole months???????? well you know what?" she says grabbing my face and putting our foreheads together so she can look me in the eyes. "fuck remus. let's date right now. he can't tell us what to do." and that was the moment i knew i was in love.
(BIG ASS TIMESKIP TO GRADUATION)
so now, y/n and i have been dating for three years. and now we are about to graduate and live our lives school free and everyone is thrilled. we all needed to dress up in something special for the occasion and my take on this was rather obviously "no way in merlins stinky breath is that gonna happen" so, i decided to go all out. and by all out, i mean neon green bell bottoms, heeled black boots with rhinestones, a white button up shirt with a v neck and of course my iconic leather jacket. i don't think anyone was expecting me not to do something crazy but not this crazy. y/n and the boys almost died when they saw my outfit and of course, the marauders all played along with this and we all went with different color pants but essentially the same outfit. james with red, remus blue and peter yellow. we tried to get y/n in on it but she said she has something else up her sleeve.
Y/N's POV:
shit. where are the girlssssss?! we need to get dressed omg we are gonna die. marlene, dorcas, lily and i all planned to do something similar to what the boys were doing for their costumes and i may have had to pay lily to do it but that's fine.

each of us girls decided to wear this dress but in our favorite colors of course. mine is y/f/c, lily's was lilac, marlenes was electric blue, and dorcas had a bright neon pink dress. "Y/N WE ARE HERE LET US INNNNNNN!" i head marlene yell from outside my door. "COMINGGGG!" i yell back. each and everyone of them had a bag with their outfit because we were all gonna get ready together. about two hours later everyone was ready. all the students who were graduating would stand in a line outside the doors. the boys of course were in the front and we were in the back. everyone would go sit at the designated table so all the 7th years could sit together and then one at a time we'd all be given our diplomas.
REMUS's POV:
"it's weird we haven't seen the girls yet..." james says almost worried. "don't worry they'll be here soon." i say patting him on the back. james pulled out the little black box and started fidgeting with it. "nervous?" i ask. "nahhhh james potter is never nervous." he says smirking and shoving the box back in his pocket. sirius walks over with four mugs of butterbeer in hand giving one to each of us. "last time getting free butterbeer so drink up fellas!" "OY SAVE ME A GLASS SIRIUS ORION BLACK IF YOU DRINK ALL OF IT I WILL THROW YOU TO THE GIANT SQUID!!!" y/n says as she and the other girls sit down by us. "oh. my. MERLIN Y/N WHAT ARE YOU WEARING-" sirius says as he spits out his drink from laughter. "i know it's pretty groovy ain't it." she says. she leans over after sitting down next to sirius and whispers in his ear. and he starts giggling. dead ass giggling. i just shake my head and start talking to lily.
SIRIUS's POV:
y/n and i had devised an evil plan. we were going to set up magical speakers around the entire hall and we were going to play abba while everyone is given their diplomas. we have it all set up and it's about time.
"thank you boys and girls for another wonderful year of education. we have students graduating tonight and while we are sad to see them go, we are happy that they are going to start new lives. we are going to quickly give them their diplomas then they will be able to leave whenever they want." most of us were planning on leaving immediately after. all the girls and the rest of the marauders had already packed up and were ready to leave after the ceremony. besides james had plans with lily afterwards and y/n and i did too. but ours were most definitely different then theirs. as soon as the first person started up the stairs we started playing the mixtape i had made of abba music for the ceremony. which definitely threw everyone off. about an hour later after everyone had received their diplomas, we left. james was taking lily out for dinner to propose, remus to his parents house, peter heaven knows where, dorcas and marlene were going to go clubbing and y/n and i were moving into our apartment. it was a nice two bed two bath apartment in london that we had picked out over the christmas holiday. and tonight we were moving in. (timeskip to the next day) Y/N's POV:
we had finally moved in and i needed to go grocery shopping so while sirius was still asleep i got ready, i threw some light make up on, pulled my hair into a pony tail and threw on some shorts and a hoodie i grabbed the keys and got in the car. sirius forbid from using his motercycle without him so i bought a car for myself to use. once i came home i found sirius pacing the living room with his hair in a mess.
"sirius babe what's wrong?" "you're back!!!" he ran over and i had just enough time to set the bags down before he picked me up and carried me to our room. "i take it you were worried?" "well duh! i'm also starving and there's no food..." "that's why i went to the store dipshit." "uh huhhhhh. kay you want help making food?" "yeah sure." i sit up, kiss sirius on the cheek and after three years of us dating he still blushes when i kiss him. i get the eggs and bacon out of the bag and start cooking. "can you get some plates please??" "yes ma'am." sirius walks over and gets the plates from the cabinet and kisses my forehead. "so i have a job interview today..." "seriously?!?!?" "yes am i completely sirius." he says with a wink while i roll my eyes. "where are you interviewing?" "the ministry of magic." "WHAT?!"
"yea. i'm being interviewed to be an auror." "oh my word sirius!!!! that's amazing!!" "thank youuuuu! also, could we have remus over for dinner tonight?" "yeah of course!"
