p a r t 4

(okay so timejump to the Hogwarts feast)
SIRIUS's POV:

james, remus and i all met peter at the station and we introduced peter to y/n. peter thought we were joking when james said he had a sister and it was amazing watching his eyes bulge out of his head when he saw her. y/n sat with us on the train to hogwarts since she didn't know anyone else but i wasn't complaining and neither was moony. i really do wonder if they are together but i feel like they would do more couple-y things together if so... but i shouldn't really worry myself. anyway once we arrive at hogwarts we had to separate from y/n because she needed to be sorted. i hope she's a gryffindor but i bet she'll be a slytherin or a ravenclaw... after all the first years were sorted dumbledore stood up and began talking.

"welcome incoming students and returning pupils! this is the beginning of a new school year but before we begin eating, i have a very special announcement! this year, we have a student from ilvermorny finishing their studies with us so i expect all of you to treat them with kindness and respect. without further ado, y/n potter!"

Y/N's POV:

as i stand behind the towering doors, i take a few breaths. professor slughorn but his ear up to the door and listened.

"that would be your cue! are you ready?"
"as ready as i'll ever be."

the doors swing open and i see all eyes on me. i have to look confident so i pull on a smirk and walk confidently down the walkway to the front. i hear a lot of whispers and a couple "she's james sister?!" "she's so pretty omg!!!" "wait till i make her fall in love with me..." "you mean the ilvermorny chaser?!" i get up to the front and see professor dumbledore holding the hat. i walk over and sit on the stool. the hat is placed on my head.

"hmmmmmm a potter i see. you're very intelligent and witty but also loyal and have some real nerve. also hardworking and kind but overwhelmingly witty, resourceful, ambitious, and cunning... i guess i'll leave it up to you, deary. which house?" i sit and think for a minute and also let the suspense build up.
"slytherin."
"SLYTHERIN!" slytherin starts cheering loudly and clapping, waving me over to their table. once i reach the table i'm greeted by a load of slytherin asking "are you pureblooded?" "were you really the star player of the thunderbirds?" "how old are you?" "hi would you like to go on a date?" all of which i answered and then started eating. i look up and see james, remus and sirius all smiling at me which i gladly return and wink at sirius carefully. turns out i'm the only 4th year female slytherin so i get my dorm all to myself which will be very nice. once i get up to my room, i unpack and then lay down.

SIRIUS's POV:

"she's a slytherin?!?!" peter says completely shocked.
"yeah and so?" i say defending her.
"slytherins are all evil!"
"not her... she is the nicest girl i've ever met."
"i mean yes but still siri! i thought you hated them
more than me?"
"i hate all other slytherins aside from her." i say once again. quietly under my breath i say "she's bloody perfect.".
"what was that pads?" james says from the other end of the table coming to after staring off at lily as usual.
"oh i was saying these potatoes are bloody perfect! you should have some prongs."
"mmmmm okay!" i look over at remus who was sitting to the left of me and he leans over and whispers, "we need to have a talk." which slightly concerns me. once we all go to our dorms i go back down to the common room and a few minutes after, moony follows.

"what did you want to talk about?"
"you like y/n."
"no i don't! what would make you think that?!"
"first of all, you always stare at her like a love struck puppy, which you are, secondly i heard what you said under your breath. it's the wolfy senses and thirdly, you get jealous whenever she and i get close."
"okay fine so what if i do?"
"she likes you too."
"she WHAT?!"
"she likes you too but she wanted to wait and see what you are like during the school year, thanks to my advice."
"well screw you i'm going to her dorm-" i say as i stand up to leave then remus pushes me down on the couch.
"NO. not yet. before i let you even think about dating her, you have to prove yourself."
"uhmmm who gave you permission and also would james even be okay with this?"
"i already talked to him and he approves my my plan. you have to not go on any dates with any female being until you two start dating, you have to not flirt with anyone, you have to stop all flirting when someone starts flirting with you and no. physical. contact. with. any. female. got it?"
"yes sir." i say saluting him.
"how long will i have to wait?"
"two months."
"ugh okayyyy BUT I HATE YOU FOR THESE RULESSSS!"
"LOVE YOU TOO PADS!!!" well i guess i'll go to bed. i'm gonna need an early start tomorrow.
