THE DAY they are born, and after Thanos snaps, every person gets something called a soul mark. These marks are usually just a black line on the inside of ones wrist until they turn 16. Once they reach that age, the line will change to spell out their soulmate's first and last name.
A tingling sensation will pulsate in both mates wrists until they make physical contact. Once this happens, the name on their wrist will turn a bright golden color, before going back to black once more. But if the bond is fought or rejected, by either person, the mark will begin to burn and turn grey. After that, the mark will feel cold and the pair of soulmates will no longer be able to stand one another. The same thing will happen when a soulmate dies.

A lot of this story will not follow a plot from a specific show. Some episodes or parts may be mentioned, but out of order.
Some characters, like Harley and the Joker will be quite out of character. This is mostly because having them be too much of a bad guy will change the main plot of this story.
The supernatural, Lucifer, Percy Jackson, and Teen Wolf characters may not be portrayed correctly either, as I haven't seen much of the shows (only enough to know their names and what they are/what they do).
