A SOFT knock resonates throughout Reyna's office. She utters a quick greeting to the person at the door, before turning back to her paperwork. As the door opens, Caroline and Bonnie can hear the soft scratches of a pen against paper, but the rest of the room is quiet. Reyna still doesn't look up at the two girls, even as they sit down in front of her. And the silence that follows, is almost deafening. The girls are surprised, because they had thought that the sound of every atom within their bodies, exploding with pure exhilaration, would make some amount of noise.

Finally, the doctor sets down her pen and shoves her work to the side. When she looks up, Reyna finds her gaze full of Bonnie and Caroline. And suddenly, soft laugh lines curl around her smile. "Hello." Her voice brings them up. And It's oh so sweet, giving them all the promise they've been seeking. Immediately, the girls relax, as they're no longer drowning in the silence, or wallowing on the ease of quiet waves.

There's another pause as Bonnie looks towards Caroline. But when the blonde smiles reassuringly at her friend, she's finally given the courage to speak up. "We'd like to invite you to dinner."

Reyna takes a moment to study the girls in front of her, being both surprised and touched by their words. Nobody has ever made such an effort with her before, has never been so nervous to ask such a small thing. And it fills Reyna's chest with a new feeling, one that starts in her heart and spurs out across her entire body. Reyna smiles, it's so bright and welcoming that Bonnie and Caroline become speechless again. The women in front of them has utterly and completely wrapped herself around their fingers, with no complaints from them whatsoever.

"Tonight?" Reyna's question is so sudden, but so full of exhilaration, that it almost startles the two girls. She seems so happy in this moment, so carefree and confident.

"Yes." Caroline speaks quickly, like she's scared her soulmate will say no. But then her eyes widen and she realizes how quickly she had spoken, and she's quick to correct it. "Uh, unless that's too soon. We can totally do it tomorrow night, or next week, or whenever. There's no rush."

Reyna laughs, softly and sweet. Unable to stop themselves, the sound brings a smile to both girls' faces. She is a ray of sunshine. A rain of warm summer, a bright fire on a cold winter's day. She is the most beautiful pattern of beauty on the fabric of love. Reyna is the definition of beauty, written by the hands of God. And watching for her is as delightful as watching the sunset.

"Tonight is perfect. Caroline, Bonnie.. thank you." Both girls smile, the sound of their names on her lips filling them with the happiest of feelings. And they can't help but dream of hearing her say them forever.

STEFAN AND DAMON are shocked to hear about Bonnie and Caroline's date. Even more so to find out that they share a soulmate, with not only the two girls, but also several others they know. So the Salvatore's do the only thing they can think to do, have the dinner at their place.

Caroline runs around, frantically setting the table for everyone. Damon had taken the liberty of inviting Enzo, and Alaric was bringing Jenna Sommers with him. And Bonnie couldn't help but worry about the amount of people overwhelming their soulmate.

Just as the young blonde finishes lighting the candles, and folding up the last napkin, the doorbell rings. Stefan rushes to answer the door, already changed into his dress pants and shirt. Jenna and Alaric walk in, their arms looped together and big smiles on their faces. The excitement is obvious, and shared among all those in the house.

The next to enter is Enzo. He's holding a bottle of wine in his hands, just in case. Taking a moment, he looks at the others. All dressed nice, but still casual enough for it to be acceptable in public. It smells like fresh fruit and tiger lilies, a smell that is so sweet and so welcoming. And he can't help but to feel at least a little nervous, because who wouldn't be when meeting their soulmate for the first time?

At the final knock, Damon rushes to the door. There Reyna Everett stands in all her naturally captivating beauty. She looks dazzling, alight. And Damon is almost in agony as he tries to capture and comprehend her beauty in only a mere glance. But then Reyna smiles, and it's all so hypnotizing. The way she looks, and moves, and breathes pure joy and confidence.

"Hi." That's all it takes. One tiny move of her lips, one simple word, and Damon has become putty in Reyna's hands. Without hesitation, Damon is pushed aside and replaced with Caroline. The younger girl pulls Reyna right through the door and straight into her arms. Their hug is short, but warm and comforting nonetheless. And when they pull away, they can't help but wish for a longer embrace.

Then Stefan steps forward, helping the doctor remove her coat. And if Reyna notices how his touch seems to linger, she doesn't mention it. She simply smiles again, filling Stefan with a new form of life. It's warm and tranquil, relaxing and welcoming. Reyna fills Stefan with jubilation and uninterrupted bliss, something he's sure he's never felt before. And he welcomes it wholeheartedly.

Bonnie is the next to greet her, choosing to link their arms together and lead her to her seat. Reyna is sat next to Jenna, who happily starts an easy conversation with her. Alaric finds it easy to join in with the two women, as Enzo sits across from his soulmate. And once Damon removes himself for his stunned position, he joins them too.

It's hard for them all to look away, because every breath she takes, every step she makes, and every smile she gives has the ability to steal the hearts of men and women. The movement of her beautiful back, the shallow lines of her spine, and the twin dimples at her lower back, is the softest invitation straight to madness. And it's one they all gladly accept, because Reyna is the finest of wine. She is the beginning, and she is the end. 

Reyna Everett is absolutely everything. And they plan to love and protect her for as long as they live.
