(In this one, though, I'll be changing up some things... it has come to my attention, we don't get too much of Romantic Ruv... ))

((THAT'S RIGHT GAMERS ANOTHER REQUEST :D This is my first time experimenting with "Kuudere" types, so I'm excited! Please, tell me if I mess up anything! I've made it gender-neutral, as most of my fluffs will be since... "stuff" doesn't matter much. BLAH I TALK A LOT HAPPY READINGS!!!))

The sun peeked through your window, and right onto your face. Perfect way to start a morning... you thought grumpily. Your apartment's mess made you stumble on your way to the kitchen, making it all the better. A low buzz filled your waist, and you fumbled around in your pocket, pulling out your phone. Two new text messages popped up on your lock screen. You rolled your eyes and swiped up. They, of course, were from Ruv.

RUV; hihello
RUV; good morning

He was a big marshmallow when it came to you, and occasionally Sarv, his best friend. Your cat miaowed at your ankles, and you allowed him to clamber up your lap. It purred and brushed against your neck as you tried to reply to his eager hello.

YOU; morning
RUV; OH you're awake
RUV; can you come over?
YOU; yea y?
RUV; it's important. i'll explain when you get here.

A small bit of fear fell into your chest. He usually explained stuff right off the bat, or never at all. You walked over to your dresser and sat on your bed, pulling up your socks. The phone screen lit up again, and you checked it once more. Another message popped up from Ruv.

RUV; nvm

You rolled your eyes and shut your phone off again, flopping back down on your bed. It was about nine AM... you could sleep a bit longer. The heaviness of your eyelids welcomed the idea, and you were quickly out.

KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK

A large repetitive sound awoke you. Your clock read about eleven, and you grumpily stood up. Through a reflection of your darkened screen, you saw your hair was all frazzled and your eyes  bit droopy. It was probably mail, anyway. The static feeling in your arm sorta left as you opened the door. It was quickly replaced with a pressing force as you were knocked down onto your floor. Ruv's familiar smell welcomed you. He picked you back up again and stared at your disheveled face.
"What the hell is this all about?" You pushed him away and sat down, discombobulated.
"Nothing, idiot. Just wanted to see you today. Sarv's gone out to get stuff, and I don't like to be in a big church by myself."
"Alrighty then." 
"Soooo what do you want to do?"
"Sleep." You rubbed your eyes.
He swooped you up and gently tossed you onto your bed. You groaned in annoyance and turned over, closing your eyes again. His arms soon wrapped around your head as he lay next to you. Mm why did he choose today to be clingy- the one day I'm off work?
"Your hair smells nice." He laughed to himself. It was one of your favorite sounds ever. Genuine, full, and rare. Though... kind of monotone. It was extremely rare he was in a good mood, nevertheless in one to laugh. You knew it hurt for him to smile or use his face muscles in ways like that, but it didn't bother you much.
"Thanks. I haven't washed it in four days."
"Oh-"
He slightly shifted away, but kept himself near you. The sound of birds outside, along with Ruv humming something quickly made you fall back into your dreams.

"Y/N."

Damnit.

"Y/NNNN."

"Yea, yea, I'm up." You angrily sat up and looked at him. He seemed excited. "What's got you all like that?
"Wanna go for a walk or something?" But it didn't seem like you had a choice. He was tugging on his jacket. 
"Man, can't wait to be blinded by the sun and get blisters."
"Jeez, somebody's cranky."
"Just got woken up, don't blame me."
"It's the afternoon, you idiot. C'mon, let's get outside. I don't see much of the city as a tourist, anyway."
You reluctantly stood up and threw on a thin linen sweater you had on your dresser and quickly tried to tame your hair with your fingers, ripping out quite a few strands. Ruv waited at the door like a puppy, and grabbed your hand, practically yanking you to the building's stairs. He ran down them, releasing his grip on your palm. You sighed and followed a bit slower. How on earth is he so energetic? It's only two o'clock, I should've been asleep. But there he was, staring up at you and tapping his foot with his hands shoved in his pockets impatiently.
"Could you go any slower?"
"Could you be less of a living firework?"
"Why? Because I make your heart explode and fill your eyes with color and sparks?"
"Oh-" You felt yourself turn a bit red, but hid it with the sleeve of the sweater, and stared back at him, who was also a little flushed. "More of loud and very jumpy."
"Awh. Rude." He turned around and pushed open the door of the apartment, holding it open mockingly of your speed. You rolled your eyes and kicked his foot. He tried to hit the back of your head, but you could hear his boots a mile away. He huffed at your successful dodge, and went back to walking by your side. 
"It's really pretty." He pointed to buildings with the windows sparkling against the sun. It was beautiful. You felt a smile creep onto your face, and looked over to see Ruv staring at you with stars almost bursting out of his eyes. You turned away. He liked when you smiled, but it embarrassed the living hell out of you. Everything about the city stayed dazzling as you two treaded the streets. Suddenly, a flashing light caught your attention. As you turned, the glistening waters of the river below made you quickly walk over to it. The large canal's many edges and catches made it easy for you to climb down. Ruv, of course, followed and sat with you as you ran your hand through the clear liquid. It was cold, of course, and sent shivers up your arm. Ruv dipped his hand in too, and suddenly flicked it up to your face. You cringed from the temperature, and did the same to him. He grimaced, and pulled on your sweater sleeve. You struggled against the tug of war, but he proved powerful over it, and yanked it. The ground tilted as you reached for it again, and your senses went blind. When you could feel and see again, water was surrounding you, with a concerned and surprised Ruv staring back at you.
"I'm sorry, are you ok?"
"Shut up. Help me get out."
He reached out his arms, and you instantly took the opportunity, sinking yourself below the frigid water. When you resurfaced, he was staring back at you angrily. But his arms gently wrapped around your shoulders and yanked you both out of the water.
"Petty much?"
"You know how I am with revenge." You smirked.

"All too well." He sighed, shaking his head and showing his adorable flat laugh as he wrapped his jacket around you.
