Memories of the previous Warhammer titan flashed through (Y/N)'s mind. He was unable to see anything clearly, however, he had realised that the previous holder had not seen much action and was not using the titan's abilities to it's true potential. Then, all of a sudden, everything went black.

(Y/N)'s vision was blurry. He was unable to see anything except subtle movements of a small group of people in front of him. As his eyes adjusted, he had also noticed a pair of arms wrapped around his torso trying to tug him out of the titan's body. As (Y/N) exited the body, exhaustion had washed over him and he hesitantly allowed the person behind him to help him walk over to the small group of people. As he looked at the group, he scanned everyone's faces only to notice that all their eyes where on him. A tall boy with deep black hair towered over the rest of the group. He stood next to another boy who was slightly shorter but had a broad and heavy build with spiky blonde hair. The blonde boy was stood next to another blonde, but this time a girl. The girl was quite short compared to the rest of the group however she looked like she was physically strong. Her blonde hair was tied in a bun while the rest of her hair gently rested over her forehead. Next to her was a boy around the same height as the blonde boy, but not built as strong. He had light brown hair that was slicked back. He stood there eagerly tapping his foot with his arms crossed. Finally, the last person in the group was a girl that was around the same height as the blonde girl. She had messy black hair that was wrapped in a small pony tail and long strands of hair was falling over her temples. Her eyes looked tired and she sported a concerned expression as you slowly approached the group.

The man that was aiding (Y/N) was tall and had a blonde medium-length beard and messy hair of the same colour. He had unique looking glasses that looked oddly different to any other glasses (Y/N) had seen. Once you had regained your balance, the man gently let go of you to let you stand on your own. You took another look at the people in the large room, then man behind you began to speak.

"Everyone, this is (Y/N). He will be joining you in the warrior programme as the holder of the Warhammer titan. He may not have trained with the rest of you, however I can promise you that he is more than capable of bearing this titan. Now get acquainted." The deep voice of the man echoed through the steel room. (Y/N) looked around at everyone in the group. They seemed to be the same age as him (Y/N) thought. It was complete silence until the short girl to the right began to speak.

"Hi, I'm Pieck, nice to meet you" the black haired girl said softly as she stretched her hand out for you to shake it. A smile on her face.

"The name's Marcel. Good to have you on the team." the brown haired boy had confidently said whilst giving a slight smile to (Y/N).

It was silence for a while because the next person in the group seemed to be contemplating on something. They slowly looked you up and down then spoke.

"Annie" was the only word that came out of her mouth. Her face gave off a serious but intrigued expression. (Y/N) had gone under the impression that she wasn't the most talkative person.

As soon as Annie had finished talking the blonde boy next to her spoke. "My name's Reiner. Nice to meet you (Y/N)." He said with a smile.

Finally it got to the last person in the group. The boy that was towering over everyone but the man behind (Y/N). "Hello I'm Bertholdt." After he had finished speaking (Y/N) felt a hand rest on his shoulder. He turned around and looked the blonde-haired man in the eyes.

"These are the people you are going to be with for the next few years so get accompanied with them! Oh and if you didn't already know, my name is Zeke." (Y/N) smiled up at the man then thanked him for helping earlier.

"Alright everyone follow me." Zeke had said as he led everyone out through a big door revealing a sizeable military base. Every one of the warriors had inherited their titan fairly recently which meant that none of them had any training in their titan forms.

"This is where we will train for the foreseeable future." Zeke said loudly so that everyone could hear.

While Zeke continued to tour around the large training grounds, (Y/N) kept seeing flashes of memories of the previous holder. He was still unable to clearly understand anything but he vaguely noticed large white spikes rising from the ground and a very deep voice talking. (Y/N) was brought out of his thoughts when Reiner strongly elbowed him in the ribs, trying to get his attention.

"How come I haven't seen you around in the warrior programme?" He asked.

"Oh um, its because the Warhammer titan isn't a titan that is inherited by anyone in the warrior programme. It's a titan that is past down from members of the Tybur family. I had inherited it from my grandfather who I hadn't known very well." (Y/N) replied.

"I see. Have you seen any of your inheritor's memories yet?" Reiner spoke back.

"I've seen a few glimpses but they've been very vague and I haven't been able to learn much from them. I guess over time I'll learn more though." (Y/N) said.

"Well, I hope that as comrades we can fight together on the battlefield and conquer for our homeland. I may not know much about your titan, although I've heard that its very powerful. Hopefully you will aid us in taking back the founder from the island of devils." Reiner concluded as he patted your shoulder with a grin on his face. (Y/N) couldn't help but smile back at his optimism.

Something around the training field had caught Reiner's attention which had caused him to speed up to the rest of the group which was slightly ahead. (Y/N) continued to look around the camp surrounding him. He stayed behind the group for the majority of the tour because he was still lightly overwhelmed from his transformation into the Warhammer. (Y/N) zoned out and was aimlessly walking and looking at the floor until he felt a gentle tap on his shoulder. Very different to the way that Reiner had got his attention. (Y/N)'s head rose until his (E/C) eyes locked with dark hazel eyes of the black haired girl from earlier. Her face still had a worried expression as she slowly opened her mouth to speak.

"Hey (Y/N), how are you feeling?" Pieck's relaxing voice mellowed (Y/N)'s ears in contrast to the loud and heavy sounds around the training grounds.

After a few seconds (Y/N) responded. "I'm feeling alright, just a little tired, physically and mentally. Although I'm looking forward to training with you guys. You seem like a determined group of people" (Y/N) said as he let out a smile.

"Don't worry. We're all pretty new to this so we're all on the same page. Oh and If it makes you feel any better, I almost passed out when I inherited my titan. Although now that I think about it, it might not have been due to the transformation but instead because of how sleepy I was." Pieck responded with a slight chuckle.

(Y/N) could only smile back at her while he enjoyed the calm aroma that surrounded her. The two continued to chat for the rest of the tour. Only parting ways with her when he needed to join the rest of the male warriors at the barracks.

After (Y/N) got settled he laid in the bottom bunk of his bed still awake, while Marcel peacefully slept above him in the top bunk. On the other side of the room, Reiner and Bertholdt were quietly talking about something at the table that they shared. As (Y/N)'s eyes slowly closed, he thought of the day that had just past and the people he had met. His mind drifted to his short talk with Reiner and he thought about the blonde boy's eagerness to fight for Marley. He believed that he and Reiner could form a great comradery. Then he thought about Annie who seemed to be distant from everyone. He didn't know much from her first impression, but there was something about her that made him want to know more. Finally, he once again saw distant memories in his mind. Memories of an ice white titan forming a Warhammer out of thin air. At this (Y/N) drifted to sleep and let his dreams take over him.
