Apologies for the late upload! I have a lot on my plate at the moment, and it completely crossed my mind this time.
As compensation, this feature from this point forward will now always be updated on the 15th day of the month, in order to maintain a 30-day distance between the Featured Books. All of the rules still apply if you miss the date of the task.

And the winner is...
Self-Love by Suzan (FoodFreshy)! Congratulations!

RULES
Here are each type of comment you must leave:
1.⠀The encouraging comment: This can be a simple "Congratulations on winning Book of the Month! #TBGBC" You can say this verbatim, or personalize it if you prefer.
•⠀You do not have to use the hashtag for each comment you leave with our regular tasks, but for this feature, you must.
2.⠀The opening statement: React to the first paragraph in the chapter.
3.⠀The stand-out: Skim the first scene for another line that catches your eye, and leave any comment of your choice on it!
You may click the star for that chapter if you prefer, but again, that is up to your discretion and outside of our book club now.
Here are things to keep in mind:
1.⠀You must comment on the last chapter posted in the winning story. (Why the last chapter, you ask? Because it is normally the one that underperforms the most for us struggling writers.)
02/22/21 update: Comments on the first chapter or the last are now both accepted. Choosing where to leave yours is up to you.
2.⠀You need to report to the end of the FEATURED BOOK chapter when finished with this task.
3.⠀Failure to comment on the books featured...
•⠀once or twice will remove your name from the wheel and disqualify you from the next month's spin.
•⠀thrice will disqualify you indefinitely, unless your club status in the CLUB MEMBERS chapter is OFFLINE.

Thank you all for joining. See you next month!
