"The Lost Boy of Atlantis"

Chapter 6

Gulf and Mew stayed silent until they reach their home. Gulf is  thinking deeply as on how he can convince Mew. Finally, with a heavy heart he face Mew who's staring intently at him, waiting.

"You heard everything right?"

"I do."

"Then, you already know what am I going to do."

"I know."

"Come on. I'll take you home." Gulf said with a sorrowful expression.

"I will only come home. If you really wanted me to." Mew said stubbornly.

"I know I can't read someone's mind. But still I have common sense. I know you don't want me to go."

"Stop being stubborn Mew! Don't make this even harder for me. Just go" Gulf pleaded remorsefully.

"I won't."

"Me---" Gulf was stopped as Mew devour his mouth. The tongue thats exploring every part of his mouth feels strange cause it was his first time. As being carried away he started to respond by sucking Mew's upper lips. Mew hold his waist to held him in place. Mew reach for his hands and place it to his neck. But as Gulf remembered about the consequences he used all his strength to push Mew away.

"Gulf" Mew called him sullenly.

Mew was about to reach him again but Gulf used his magic to make a shield between them. Mew tried his very best to break the shield by punching and kicking. But the shield wasn't affected even a little. Gulf turned his back holding back his tears.

Everything I do, I do it for you.

"Gulf don't do this to me. I just want to be with you!"

"Gulf! Gulf! Gulf!" Mew shouted until he can't take it anymore. Gulf is no longer on his sight. He broke into his knees and cried a river. He is now there alone in the place that he called their home.

Gulf make his way to the sea to breathe. He needed to organize his thoughts thoroughly. He can't bare to lose Mew. But they can't be together tho. Damn! It's so complicated. When he is stressed he sing. It's his way to let his emotions flow out since he was never good at explaining to someone.

He usually sang when he's happy but here he was right now, singing sullenly. He sang until he can't anymore. He just wanted to be tired so he can sleep peacefully.

"The first time I saw you, you're singing and now on our final goodbye you're singing again." Gulf turn to his back with a bewildered expression.

"Mew!" he shouted in surprise.

"I love you, goodbye." Mew stated calmly and after a seconds he suddenly vanished into the thin air.

"Nooooo!!!" Gulf exclaimed.
