Katie's POV
After that, we needed more training.
Lots and lots of training.
"Okay! Listen up, Oozmas. Now, we're gonna have to start winning these things together, so that means I'm going to need each of you guys to pull your own weight." Mike explained.
"Mike?" Squishy spoke up, startling Mike.
"What is it?" Mike asked.
"We've made a list of our strengths and weaknesses." Squishy said, handing Mike the list.
"In high school, I was the master of silent scare. I could sneak up on a mouse in a pillow factory," Don explained. As he got on his hands and knees. Yeah, he says that, but from the noises that his tentacles making, it sounded like that mouse would hear him coming from a mile away. "Sorry. They get stickier when I'm sweaty. Oh my gosh, that's terrible." He said as he crawled away.
"We're experts in the ancient craft of close-up magic." Terry said as the 2 did card tricks.
"It's all about misdirection." Terri added as the cards fell out of his sleeve which made Terry groan.
"I have a extra toe. Not with me of course." Art said.
A/n: What if Art was sent to jail for either dismembering somebody's toe?
"Guys, one slip-up, and we're goners. So for this to work, I'm gonna need you to take every instincts you have..." Mike crumpled up the paper and threw it onto the ground. "And bury it deep, deep down." He said.
"Done." Art agreed.
"From now on, we are on one mind. My mind," Mike said. I heard Sulley mumble something. "I will tell you want to do, and exactly how to do it," Mike added. Without hesitating, the others agreed. "All right. Give me scary stepped. 50 up and down. Right now. Let's go." He commanded.
"Dude, you know you don't need to work them to death. They're going to need a break once in awhile." I said.
"I know. They just need to work harder if we're gonna win." Mike responded.
"You're wasting your time. We need a new team." Sulley spoke up.
"We can't just get "a new team!" I checked this morning it's against the rules." Mike said.
"What if we disguised a new team to look like the old team?" Sulley asked.
"Oh, no, no, no. We are not cheating." I said.
"I'm not cheating. I'm just, you know, leveling the playing field," Sulley lied. We looked at him, not convinced. "Okay, so it's kinda cheating! But what do you want me to do? They're not exactly the scariest group in the world." He pointed out.
"Ooh, a ladybug! Make a wish! Make a wish!" Squishy said. Art blew on to ladybug and made it fly away which made them laugh. We gave them confused and dumbfounded looks.
"This is not gonna work." Sulley mumbled before he bgean to leave.
"Where are you going? We are training!" I said.
"I'm a Sullivan." Sulley said gesturing to him.
"That's not enough. You're all over the place. You're charging ahead when you-" Mike started.
"Bup, bup, bup! You tell them what to do, not me. So long, Coach, Furball." Sulley said, saluting to us. He clicked his tongue at 2 girls and then left.
"Okay, Oozmas," Mike started but gasped when he saw Squishy behind him. "Boy, we need to get you a bell." He added as I handed him the letter.
"Listen up! "If a kid hears you coming, they'll call mom or dad, then you'd better run fast, or things will get bad." Mike read.
