"Alright y'all. Come on, hurry up. The boosters do not like to be kept waiting." Billy Baker yelled.

Haiden adjusted her dress, moving around in the uncomfortable heels. Jordan giggled, pulling on one of Olivia's curls. She stared at him with concern.

"You are a literal child."

Spencer sighed, looking at his jeans as he went downstairs. He was a little surprised to see how classy everyone had dressed and here he was, in jeans.

"Spencer, what's going on? We're leaving, get dressed." Billy said.

"Oh, I- I am dressed."

The family shared a look before Laura stepped in.

"And you know what? You look great, it's just these things are so-"

"Stupid and pretentious?" Liv commented.

"Hey, easy. Just throw on a blazer and snazz that outfit up." Billy spoke.

"I don't have a blazer here."

"No problem. We'll just swing by your house on the way, you can grab one, and we'll go from there." Billy continued, anxiously tying his tie.

"No, I mean.. look, I don't have one there either." Spencer sadly spoke.

Haiden rolled her eyes. She was ready to go and they were too focused on Spencer's jeans not being classy enough.

"You know what I say? Wear what you want, to hell with the boosters. Isn't that right, boys?" Laura smiled, trying to cheer him up.

"Why don't you guys go ahead? I will handle it." Haiden told them.

"You sure?" Billy questioned his daughter.

"Yes. Go."

"You better not be late." He scolded her, knowing her ways.

"I'll make sure we show up when it's almost over." She smirked.

As they left, Haiden raided her father's closet then gave Spencer one of his suits. She adjusted the suit to fit him, admiring his backside.

"I gotta say, you're a fine looking guy and you clean up nice." He said as he looked at himself, seeing the girl smile.

"You know, you're good at this."

"Having pants? I think that would make everyone good at it."

He shook his head.

"Nah, making people feel better."

Haiden slightly nodded, clearing her throat.

"Yeah, I guess so. Thanks.."

As they headed to the party, Spencer noticed the girl lowly singing along to the music. She hadn't really spoken since they left so he decided to make conversation.

"So, what is this booster party anyway?" He asked.

"Just a bunch of old blowhards congratulating themselves about a football team they had nothing to do with. They fund the sports program so my dad sucks it up, and with Beverly coming off yet another losing season, the pressure is on. I guess that's where you come in."
