Cameron sat on his bed, staring at his girlfriend. He observed her face, pulling her phone out of her hands.

"You've been coming over every night. Are you sure you're okay?"

"Yes, I'm fine." She assured, leaning close to him.

"Haiden.." He whispered, gently pushing her away when he felt her lips on his neck.

"What? You seriously saying no?"

He looked into her eyes, moving away.

"Are you high?"

"Maybe." She laughed.

"Seriously? This ain't healthy. So, you've been smoking a lot? I've caught you drinking, and it seems like you're going to any party you can find. You were in the hospital, Haiden!"

"I couldn't forget if I tried, and I don't need you parenting me."

"Obviously someone needs to."

"I have this under control."

"Oh yeah? Isn't that what your sister said before she overdosed?"

Haiden scoffed, nodding.

"I'm out."

Cameron quickly moved across the room, snatching her keys off the TV stand.

"No, you're not driving until you're fully sober."

"Give me my keys." She reached for them.

"No." He declined, picking up her phone and going to her contacts.

Haiden rolled her eyes, continuing her failed attempts. She stopped, noticing the phone to his ear.

"Who are you calling?"

"Just sit down."

"And if I don't?"

"Girl, sit down." He commanded, hanging up the phone upon receiving voicemail.

He sent a quick text, sliding her phone and keys in his pocket.

Haiden sat on the bed, annoyed. The couple didn't speak a word until there were rapid knocks on the front door.

"Who did you call?" Haiden questioned, following him.

"Wassup, man." Cam greeted Jordan after opening the door.

"You're serious? You called my brother?"

"He was just trying to help." Jordan defended.

"I don't need help!"

"You do." Cameron insisted.

"Haiden, let's go." Jordan gestured, stepping aside.

"I hate the both of you." She groaned, walking to the car as Cameron handed Jordan her belongings.

Haiden stayed quiet, thinking of what was to come next. Jordan repeatedly sighed, anxiously tapping his thumb on the wheel.
