There's three days until homecoming. I'm getting really excited! Christian hasn't seen my dress yet, but I told him that it was black and white.
Right now I'm on my way to his house to hang out for a little while. On weekdays we can only be together for a couple hours after school 'cause I have practice and then I have to be home by 9:00.
I arrive at his house and I text him saying I was here. I walk up to the door and knock, waiting for him to answer the door.
A lady who I haven't met opens the door.
"Hi, is Christian home?" I ask her.
"Yes, he's in his room. You must be Rhylee; I'm Christian's mom." She answers with a smile on her face.
"It's nice to meet you." I say walking in and heading to his room.
His door's closed; I don't even think about knocking and I walk in.
"Hey-" I say as I walk in. "Oh my gosh."
I walk into his room and find him laying on his bed without his shirt on, with Sabrina laying on top of him in just her bra and shorts, and they're making out.
They both pull away and look at me.
"Can one of you tell me what's going on?" I yell as I feel tears rush to my eyes.
"Rhylee, I'm so sorry. One thing lead to another and-" Sabrina apologizes and she puts her shirt back on.
"Save it. I thought you were my friend." I interrupt with a tear falling down my face.
"I am."
"Friends don't make out with each other's boyfriends. Speaking of, don't you already have one?"
"He broke up with me. That's why I came here this afternoon, to talk about it with Christian. Then he kissed me and-"
"Wait, you kissed her?!" I yell at Christian.
He smirks at me.
"This is the real me Rhy. I wasn't planning on keeping you around much longer, so I thought, what the heck? and I kissed her. To be completely honest, I don't care if it hurt you or not. You don't mean anything to me anymore." He says harshly.
A tear rolls down my face. I look at Sabrina before I even respond to Christian.
"I'm still mad at you, so I don't really want to talk to you right now; but I'm hoping we can still be friends after this." I say to her as more tears fall from my eyes.
"Rhylee, I really am sorry. I shouldn't have let it go as far as it did. I'll give you some space for a while, just call me when you're ready." She says.
She grabs her bag and walks out of the room, closing the door behind her.
"I should've listened to everyone. They tried to warn me that you were no good and I refused to believe them. Everyone was right about you." I say rudely to Christian.
"Do you really think I care what people say about me?" He begins. "I got what I wanted from you, and I moved on. From the beginning I wasn't planning on keeping you around for more than a couple months. At first I was just going to use you for your fame and money, but then I thought that this could be fun."
I don't even know what to say to him right now. I'm so mad and hurt I can't think of the right words to use.
"Just stay out of my life." I say as I leave his room.
I run out the front door as I start to cry again.
As soon as I get home, I run upstairs to my room, ignoring everyone who's asking what's wrong.
