Part 26 One way path.

I heard the click again in my head.I understood it this time."Danny Tell us the lead right now.No matter how bad it sounds tell us right now!" i said to him."Fine.Its a long stretch but....I remember Artyom talking about my sickness.Saying how he knows how i feel and told me what everything meant.That's why i helped him with no doubts.I trusted him because i thought he was doing the right thing at the time.And that Laugh.....That's his exact laugh." He said and looked around.Expecting to see him step out onto the throne.I could still hear the chuckling.It never changed when he said that. Artyom was shot in the arm and fell from a high height.His body unlike Colten's was not in the trash  room. I tried thinking for the perfect words to find enough proof to help him or likely agree with him.And then the thought hit me perfectly.He fell a large distance,Into a dark pit.Nothing could be seen inside of it and the curtain closed quickly when he fell.He never screamed either."Guys Danny is right." i said and they looked at Danny."Artyom's execution was very bland for other executions.Not like that means anything but no one for sure saw Artyom actually die.He just fell through the pit and the curtain closed.No sound at all.No yelling. no screaming for help.He must have seen me save Gevo when he tried to kill himself and realized that Gevo had more Chemicals.Artyom never killed Colten in the first place.Colten killed himself with the chemicals and Artyom must have taken the blame.Is this right?" I said and the chuckling stopped abruptly."SO.Eh I'm tired of this puny thing anyways.Now shall i come out?" The voice said.I put my hand to my mouth.Mike seemed angry."Come out right now you childish waste of time!" He yelled into the air.I heard the laughing again as fog seemed to seep put of the throne.

I could not see in front of me when i heard a loud blast.I looked to where it came from and saw the fog seemed to clear out of that area.And he just stood there watching me."So Mr. challenger himself figured it out.Never expected someone so bland to finally bring me out of the shadows." Artyom said and started to laugh.The fog cleared up and i saw Mike start to run towards him."I'M GOING TO KILL YOU!" He yelled before a chain grabbed his hand right before he punched Artyom."Bud remember you wont hurt me.Unless you want a punishment right now?" he said and laughed again.It seemed to make Mike even angrier but he just walked back to his stand."Now for the rest of the trial.Why are you all here and then the summary.Sigh such memories being back in the trial room.Never got to say how happy i am that John actually murdered Gevo in cold blood.What a simple motive that was right?Back to the trial." Artyom said and looked around.At every ones reaction to this news.Daniel and Mike seemed to be filled with hatred.I'm surprised I'm not like them but.Its weird how i feel about him being alive.Someone that i thought was a close friend betrayed us all.I don't feel angry but just hurt.Alyssa looked the same as me.Just confused and hurt.But it crushed me to see Danny.He just looked....Different.He had no emotion on his face just....A blank expression.We all just stared at Artyom who just stared back at us."You guys gonna go or do i have to do everything?" he scoffed.

"So why were here.It cant be for us to kill each other but......I cant remember anything else about this place." Alyssa said and sighed."What if John was right about us not remembering anything.It sounds like something that they could have done.I have seen cases of people losing memory's many times a while ago." Mike suggested.He seemed to calm down really fast unlike Daniel who just stared at Artyom."Well he was correct about many things so the possibility of that is true.But Artyom did just say that the book was a motive.He could have just lied about the other things in the book.Besides who knows that John actually read the book and not just used that as a excuse." Danny said.He sounded so Monotone compared to his actual personality."Well this is the only lead we got and we have a lot of time for now.Lets just get everything we need and then vote." i said.It is the only lead we have on why were here even if it just leads to more questions.

"So if were following on everything John said then we don't have any idea of our life before this.I mean come on it has the word school written right across the cafeteria doors.We attended the school because of our talents.Is that not obvious enough!" Daniel said and pointed at Artyom.Our talents.Were only here for our talents."THAT'S WRONG.John never was a pirate.The fact that he got the title still sounds fishy but he said he had it.The reason he said he got his title was because he happened to save some people at sea.It cant be for our titles but for another reason.For him."I said and pointed at Artyom.He grinned showing his teeth a bit."Why and how would i be able to trick 13 teenagers into a school.Come on its a idiotic idea."Art said and started to laugh again.That same laugh he had before this all started.I tried to think of how but nothing came to it until he Spoke up."Artyom you told me how you wanted to rid the world of despair.You told me my original purpose was to spread it and take out the third wheel of this.YOU DON'T THINK I REMEMBER THAT!You made me almost commit murder......Just for some crummy plan.I have never been able to forget you but i don't want to see you anymore.I don't want to see any of this anymore." Danny said and looked at him.His eyes had tears in them."Whats Wrong bud don't you want to take away the despair.You told me that and now here is your chance.Finish the rest of the trial and ill explain the great news!" Artyom said with glee.I don't trust him.He sounds too happy about being found out.

"The reason were here is because of you.We don't know yet how you did it but you brought us all here so we kill each other.That book said we don't remember anything and some of us were here because of mysterious reasons.Artyom the reason were here is because of you.You took our memories somehow and then made us come here.If you erased our memories then i suspect you have the technology to make us come to this place.Am i right?" i said and he just sighed and grinned again."Yes your right.That seemed pretty fast now do your summary and we can have the news finally be revealed." He replied again and the Monomoomoo bot looked up at him.Weird."Now who wants to do the summary.Or will i have to force someone else to go again"."Ill do it.I never got to and it seems like i want to go out like a bang.I shall begin." Daniel said.

"From the start Artyom had the bot moving on its own.He had no control to what it would do until he is framed.So we started to manipulate everyone into thinking he was their friends up until Monomoomoo finally announced the motive hes been waiting for.The when he was alone he made the disease affect Gevo,Danny,And Louie.The he headed back and acted as if nothing happened at all.He started to talk to Colten and Danny and hatched the plan to finally kill someone to end the despair.That's how he lured Danny into helping set everything up and almost kill Colten.I got to spend sometime with Colten myself and before everything happened he seemed desperate for a friend.I wanted to befriend him but he seemed a bit too whiny for my taste so i left him alone for a while.Artyom must have came to Colten asking to be his friend I'm guessing and then The three set up the plan.When everything went perfectly he purposely made it seem like he was the murderer so he could finally be executed and go into control of Monomoomoo.Then when he was found guilty all we really did was help even more deaths happen since he was in full control.He began to set Louie up from the start of the end.With all the evidence flying around the only person who could have been the killer was Louie.But we all seen what happened when we voted for him.From what i heard of what happened to Louie was he was saved by a statue and fell into the trash chute.He found the body of Colten and with its missing legs meaning only the mastermind could have planted the legs on the plant.Louie came back up and showed us what he saw.And then We are here.Artyom you are the only one who could have done this case!" Daniel said and the roulette table popped up.It spun faster then it ever did and everything except the spinner went back under.It began to spin pointing around the actual trial room and stopped on the stand where Artyom was standing.

"So you guys finally did it.You figured out my whole plan.Now i can finally tell you all the best part.I have two things to say.Number one i never killed Colten.Now number two.There is no world for you to leave to."

(Man i really am making these updates slow and I'm really sorry about dat.And yes another cliff hanger and yes i am sorry and no stab me many many times.John.......However i think the next chapter might actually be the last chapter for this book.Its making me quite sad but now i can finally go onto my second book.Bye for now and ill see you next chapter.)
