Part 16 Secrets

At first when i heard  him say wait up i thought he was talking about someone else but i was wrong."So i guess i have a lot of explaining to do?"Gevo asked from behind me."Yes you do bud" i said over my shoulder and started walking down the stairs."First of all before anything your going to tell me where you got that vial from."I said and i heard him sigh."Fine but your not going to use this against me in the trial are you?"."Whoever said there was going to be another trial."I said but i knew that was false hope."Well we only have so many things to keep us awake until were just falling over each other and everyone gets executed.Besides it sounds like Daniel is going to crack soon just from lack of sleep and its only day one."Gevo explained and i stopped.I just thought of something and he knows my answer."I'm going to ask again.Where did you find that vial" i said and turned towards him."In the beginning i took a bunch of vials and hid them in my room just in case we ran out.Listen almost everyone was just a little paranoid even if they don't show it so you cant blame me."He said and crossed his arms."Now one little more.What kind of chemicals do you have in your possession?"I asked and he just started walking down the stairs.I followed him and he went all the way down to his Room and unlocked the door.

We walked in and he went over to his dresser and took a small box out."You can see what i have"He said and took the lid off.Inside the box was maybe ten different chemicals.I took one out and i saw what i was looking for."Well your lucky because you got some of the chemical Artyom used to make his adrenaline thing he used on Colten"I said and put it on the dresser.Some of the next chemicals i pulled out were just pretty normal and did really nothing without other chemicals.For a moment i thought it was harmless until i pulled out the second to last one."May i ask why you have this one?"I said as i looked back into the box and i froze as i saw the last one."Well I guess you saw what i did not want you to see" Gevo said from behind me.I read the label again to make sure i did not read it wrong."All three of the components...... of his....."I said and started to regret letting him come along with me."Yes i helped him make it.I was scared and he promised not to kill me so i made it for him.He told me to add the perfect amount to kill so i did.I never helped during the trial because of my sickness.Louie i knew he killed them both and i never helped you guys.......i guess that explains your other questions....."Gevo said and leaned on his desk.So....he did do something bad.Does he mean why he tried to drink......"Gevo you were sick i understand.I was also sick but that's no excuse for you trying to drink whatever that was"I said and i noticed he was shaking."Just try to calm down i wont tell the others about this.I already said i would never use this in a trial so don't worry" i tried to say but this is a little bit too much.Both of the people that were sick helped Artyom commit his murder.Both knew what he was doing and yet neither of them wanted to share it to us because of fear and because of being understood."Come on lets go get something to eat"I said with a smile.He smiled weakly back and started to walk through the door.

As we sat down John and Mike walked through the door and into the kitchen."Like i said i wont tell anyone what i saw.Alright?"I whispered to Gevo who nodded."So what did you two do while the rest of us were doing nothing?"John said as he sat down next to Gevo with his plate."We both just kinda talked about that incident with a knife" i said and Mike and John gave me a look."I'm surprised you even left from the group with the one person that tried to kill someone but was never able to" Mike said and started to eat his soup."Well i asked Monomoomoo some questions and i guess i understand why he tried to attack me"I said and Mike put his spoon down and stared at me."Even if you knew why he did that he did still try to attack you of all people.And your acting like your perfectly fine about it" John said and Gevo coughed."Listen i might as well clear up that i never wanted to attack Louie but my sickness made me really try to kill him.Also my super BuBs level is rdm'er so you should have expected me to use it once like Artyom said." Gevo said and stood up."It seems im not wanted here so I'm leaving" He said and walked away."Guys he never wanted to do what he did and I'm perfectly fin-"I was saying but Mike put his hand up."You don't have to defend him man i mean he tried to kill you.Even if all he did was get your face that wound could have ended you right there.If he wants to leave then he could but who cares if he does.Am i right?"Mike said and i just stared at him."Ill see you around guys."I said and started to stand up."Louie come o-" John tried to say but the door was shut by then.

I decided i would go read some books before i drink something to keep me awake.I Started walking up the steps when i saw the library door was wide open but something caught my eyes on the door knob.Pink splatters were on the door knob.I looked down the hall and noticed the Workout room door was open as well. I entered the library and saw two people sitting down reading as well."Hey guys" i said and they looked up from their books."Oh hey Louie" Daniel said and put his book down."What are you doing in here?" Alyssa asked me."Same reason as you guys I'm guessing.Needed something to waste my time" i said and walked over to a bookshelf."Louie you should check this out." Daniel said and tossed his book at me.I caught it and looked at the cover." fictional story about a group of students at some school.I cant recall what it was called but it seems interesting.The interesting part is it sounds like what is going on in here" Daniel said and Alyssa looked at him."Why did you not tell me about that book?" She said and turned and looked at me."Hey you were already reading when  came in here why disturb you and your book"

I opened the book and peered at the front page.Something about a island and 16 students being taken to the island to murder each other if they wish to escape.I rubbed my temples and sat down.This book is something.....Something none of us should read ."Daniel did you find this book on the shelf?"i asked and he just shook his head."Well Louie i may have been going through Colten's room and i found this in his dresser" Daniel said and reached out for the book."I don't know if we should read this book it feels like something...Sacred i guess.Just please listen."I said and he put his hand back down."Fine but if i find out you read the book ill be pissed off"Daniel said with a smile.I thought for a moment he was actually angry but i guess it was just a joke.I put the book down on the table and went to look for the other books.After i grabbed another book and said bye to the others and went down to my room.At least here i can relax without and worries but i cant sleep.I just laid on my bed and waited for something.Anything to happen for a while and when nothing did i just decided to get a drink and Find something entertaining to do.

After drinking my energy drink all my thoughts hit me at once.I felt i don't know awake maybe is the word to say but it does not quite fit it.But that feeling died when i remembered what i saw earlier.I dropped the can in the trash and ran up the stairs towards the library and the pink spots were still there.Two people are missing and if there is blood here i don't like my chances of.......I don't know what chances I'm looking for.Death or life i guess.I ran up the stairs and checked the rooms on the second floor and found no one.I ran up to the third floor and i found one person i was looking for."Danny Do you know where Gevo is by any chance?"i asked him and he just shrugged and walked into the infirmary .I checked the rest of the rooms and saw no one.I ran up to the fourth floor getting more paranoid by the second.I opened the garden door and called his name.No response.I opened the Classroom and no one was there.I looked at the last possible door for them to be at.I opened it and called."Gevo......." and i heard someone laugh.I walked in and saw Gevo and John talking."What are you two doing in here?" i asked trying to catch my breath from sprinting so much."Well Gevo told me some very interesting things and i understand why you tried to defend him earlier.Don't worry i wont say anything to the others Gevo."John said and stood off of the chest he was sitting on."Guys just saying they have some interesting things in the library.Many great books if you want to waste time."I said rolling my eyes."I don't understand if your serious or if that's a joke but ill check it out."Gevo said as he started to walk outside."Wait for me."John said and jogged over to him.Seems the adrenaline was just too much and i just thought about it too much.But where did that blood come from? I guess something happened.Danny did go into the infirmary so its a possibility.At least it seems like no one died.I put my hand to the scar on my cheek.Something worse could have happened but i was lucky.

(Man people in BuBs are only going to get that soup joke.That is if any of them are reading the book.I think i may keep this short because of working on the other chapters so yea.I guess this is the end of my little note.)
