Hey everyone! Before you dive into the story, I would just like to explain a few things. This could be considered a rewrite of the plot for the nefarious Rise of Lyric game. I want to fix a few things and actually give Sonic a really good arc as well as explain origins. I am not used to the humorous style of writing, so please keep that in mind while reading.
A few things in this story will be changed and it will be the first arc of three I have set up for the characters. Shadow will not show up in this arc like he does in the game. He has no reason to be here. Also, I would like mention that the characters will have slight changes in personality. Sonic will be more introvert as I feel it really adds to his character at the moment, Tails will be a bit sassy and snarky towards Sonic at times, Amy will be a little more bubbly than before, and Knuckles will not be overly stupid (although certain things about that character will be kept the same.)
Sonic Boom will solely be a different dimension and will not affect my main storyline directly.
I absolutely adore Sonic Boom and wish it could have been done in the way Big Red Button had intended before they had to switch gears. I apologize if the changes are not your cup of tea but I am trying to breathe new life into this series.
