Chapter 2:
Erin’s POV:
Today was the last day of my time in Orlando. Larysa was going to go home tomorrow because we got tickets so late and there weren’t two on the same flight. In the morning I straightened my hair and put on a pair of jeans with a grey graphic tee. I also put on some grey Vans, a grey fedora, and grabbed some sunglasses because I knew it would get extremely sunny later. (http://www.polyvore.com/untitled_79/set?id=150113013) Once I had all my clothes and bathroom stuff packed up, Larysa and I decided to go get some Starbucks.
“I’ll have a grande iced caramel macchiato soy please!” I told the Barista. Larysa ordered her drink and we walked back to the hotel.
“Ugh, I don’t want to leave,” I groaned to Larysa afte we finished our drinks.
“I want you to,” she said. I glared at her. “I kid I kid!” she said with a smile. “What time is your flight anyways?”
“So you are a little eager for me to leave!” I laugh. “It takes off at 3:30pm and I should be home around 11 to 11:30. I need to get to the airport at 2.” I checked my phone. “That gives us about an hour to do anything we want to.”
“Cool cool.” Larysa said as she pulled out her phone and sat on the couch. I turned my phone back on and continued lying on the bed. I checked to see what’s up in the Twitterverse.
@ConnorFranta: So cool that I got to meet a few of you guys at Disney yesterday!
I smiled, remembering that I was one of those people. I favorited the tweet and then checked up on Instagram then finally Tumblr.
“Larysa, you need to drive me to the Airport now!” I said whilst trying to pull her off the bed.
“Okay okay! I’m coming!” she said, getting up. I got my two bags and raced Larysa to the elevator.
“HAHA I win!” I gloated.
“Whatever,” she said with a bit of a hair flip.
Once we got downstairs, I decided to grab a granola bar for the car trip, since I hadn’t really eaten any real food today.
“Hey, take this bag, I’ll be right back.” I said to Larysa. She agreed so I gave her one of my bags and walked over to the vending machine at the other side of the lobby. I got to the vending machine and noticed that some guy was having a hard time. “Do you need help?” I asked him.
“Oh, um yah, if you don’t mind!” he said in a British accent. Once he turned around, I saw who it was. Alfie Deyes. “Yah, I don’t understand this whole American money system thing. It’s very complicated.” I laughed.
“What are you trying to get?” I asked him while I was also internally screaming.
“Some snickers,” he said.
“Do you have another quarter?” I asked him. He gave me a puzzled look. “That’s the bigger coin.”
“Oh, yah! Here,” he said as he handed me a quarter. I put in the money and then pressed D2 to get a pack of goldfish. I grabbed the goldfish and handed it to him. “Thanks love,” ha said.
“No problem, Alfie!” I said and then quickly realized he hadn’t introduced himself to me. I turned around, about to walk away. I was SO CLOSE from not ruining this moment by fangirling.
“Oh, so you watch my videos?” he asks, although it sounded more like a statement and less like a question.
“Oh, um… yah,” I said, turning back around.
“You should have just said so from the beginning! Do you want a picture?” he asked. I nodded my head. We took a selfie where I just kind of stood there smiling awkwardly and holding the phone while he put two thumbs up.
“Uh, thanks for the picture!” I said to him before he walked away.
“Yah, no problem! Thanks again for the help… you know, with the vending machine.” He replied.
“Oh yah, it’s fine,” I said. “Bye!”
I turned back around and got my granola bar, then I walked outside to see Larysa already putting my bags in our rented car.
“What took you so long?” she asked.
“Nothing,” I said, replying a little too quickly.
“Okay, she said, giving me a weird look.
We got in the car and drove to the airport. Once we got there, Larysa helped me get the bags at out of the trunk. We said good bye and said stuff like, “See you tomorrow,” and other things like that, then I was on my way. I put by suit case in baggage check and then went through security. Once I got to my terminal, I still had another half hour until my flight would be ready to start boarding passengers, so I decided to go on Twitter. Nothing new really came up. Connor tweeted a picture of his hand, Tyler Oakley self-promoted his Tumblr, Casper Lee posted a weird picture that had no relevance to anything. You know, the usual stuff. Finally I heard the lady say that it was time for my flight to start boarding.
Once I was on the plane, I got in my seat quickly and got comfortable. Once the flight attendant had gone through all the safety instructions, I put my head phones on. I hate plane rides, but at the same time, they can be so relaxing. Within 20 minutes, I was asleep.
“Welcome, to LA. Please gather all your items and be sure to buckled up and ready for landing.”
That was the first thing I heard once I woke up.
I looked around and saw all the passengers around me waking up and starching. Some were gathering items that had been taken out of bags during the flight. Others were trying hush their children. Everyone around was moving slowly as if we were all zombies, planes have that effect on people. Once we’d gotten off the plane, I got my bags and called an Uber. As much as I’d love to chill in the airport forever, I just wanted to get back to my own bed and go back to sleep. (@ me all the time)
Within 15 minutes, the Uber was waiting to pick me up. I got in with my bags, told the man the address and got on my phone. Larysa had sent me 3 texts and my mom and my friend Blake from back home each sent me one.
Larysa: Text me when you land.
Larysa: Did you land yet?
Larysa: You must have landed by now. WHY ARENT YOU ANSWERING ME!?
I texted her back quickly so she wouldn’t be worried.
Me: Yah sorry, hadn’t checked by phone. In an Uber now, on my way home.
Then I checked my other messages.
Mom: Hi, miss you! Hope you have/had a great flight!
Me: Miss you too mom! And I did! Love you!
Blake: I think you said you were flying back to LA today. How was Florida?
I decided I’d text Blake back tomorrow because I was too tired to write a lot down.
In about 20 minutes, we were at Larysa and I’s place. It wasn’t too small but it wasn’t very big either. As soon as I got home, I walked upstairs and pulled some PJ’s out of a box and put them on. We still hadn’t unpacked much. I got into bed and fell asleep so quickly that I don’t even remember lying my head on my pillow.
End of chapter 2.
I wrote basically the magority of the last half a few minutes ago and I'm sooooo tired right now so if it seems like it doesn't make sense or it seems like Erin says she's tired a lot, it's because that's how I feel.
Hope you enjoyed this chapter, thanks for reading!
k byyyyyyeeee!
