Erin's POV:
Around 10am Larysa dragged me out of bed to get to ihop. Those British youtubers sure are obsessed with American pancakes. After my coffee ritual I spent 20 minutes scavenging through my boxes of clothes until I finally found my galaxy cat sweater and some black leggings. Instead of vans I decided to mix it up with some black and white converse. As Larsya continued to peer pressure me to hurry up I straightened my hair and quickly applied some makeup. A
"Who are you trying to impress?" Larysa questioned me in regards to my straightened hair.
"No one," I blushed. Is it bad Connor came to mind as soon as she asked though? "I'm trying to impress my idols. That's all."
"Okay.. Well, Sam and Trevor... Is that his name? Well I think his name is Trevor and then Sam are going to be here soon so yeah." She finished.
"Okay," I said. I admit, I was a little disappointed when Connor said he had to pick up the crew and wouldn't be picking me up. But I get it priorities.
Almost on cue the doorbell rang and I watched Larysa half sprint to the door. At laughed at her. After I eavesdropped on her and Sam's cute couple moment I decided to interrupt them so we can get this show on the road.
"HEYYYYY ERINNNNNN!" I heard Trevor yell from the passenger seat.
I got into the car and I immediately asked for the aux cord. Sam reluctantly handed it over and I pressed shuffle in my music library. Embarrassingly enough Echo came on. Luckily for us, Trevor decided to grace us with his voice and on fleek dance moves.
...
Pretty soon we arrived at ihop and everyone became acquainted to everyone else. We sat down to eat and I say between Larysa and Joe and across from Connor. It was a large group, probably about 12 of us. Pretty soon, though, we kind of split into smaller conversations. I ended up listening to a conversation between Casper lee, Joe Sugg, and Connor about crazy fan experiences in airports. It's actually pretty insane.Ever since Connor and I made our friendship public and people know of my existence I've had people come up to me asking for a picture. It was weird the first few times.
"So how did you and Connor meet?" Joe asked me, drawing me out of my thinking.
"Um funny story actually," I said with a laugh.
...Connor's POV:
I sat there watching as Erin laughed her way through telling Joe and Casper the ridiculous story of how we became friends. She got so into it. You could see she was nervous, though. Her almost awkward body language gave it away. And her voice, how it seemed more tense like she was scared to laugh, or stop laughing. Acting like a true fangirl, I must say."Connor!" I heard someone yell from down the table. It was Troye asking me a question about something or other. I then looked back to Erin. For about a half a second we made eye contact before she quickly glanced away, bringing her attention back to whatever question Joe and Caspar were asking her.
She was happy. I was happy. Everyone there was happy. I wish we could all stay at ihop forever because then we'd always have pancakes and we'd always be happy.
However, the meal ended and I heard Larysa telling Erin that they should probably leave. The rest of the gang was heading over to the house for some pool time and to probably film a tiny bit.
"Erin, you guys can stay... I mean if you want to." I told her as we all got our bags together.
"Are you sure? I don't want us to be the loners that you feel like you have to hang out with." She replied. I laughed.
"If anything I'm inviting you so I don't look like a loner at my own house."
"You could never," she said with a smile. I never noticed she had dimples before. "Well, if you insist. I'd love to go. and by looking at Larysa and Sam's hug, I'm assuming Sam already invited her to stay."
...
Back at the O2L house I helped everyone bring their bags in from the car. I saw Erin mingling with Zoe. I knew how much that means to her. Zoe's one of her favorite."So have you asked her out yet?" Tyler asks, coming up from behind me.
"What are you talking about?" I ask.
"I see the way you look at her. And how she looks at you, I might add. You can't possibly tell me you don't like her!"
"I don't know!" I said laughing. "We're just friend. I like her... As a friend!"
"Okaaaay," Tyler says in the most shifty way possible.
Tyler was called over by someone and I was left alone to think. Do I like Erin? I don't think so. Maybe? No she's a fan! I can't date a fan, that's ridiculous. But in the back of my mind I knew she wasn't a fangirl anymore. At the very least, she's my friend.
