Drawing Of A Key

I was pressing my back against the wooden wall, as I shuffled across. I saw two guards leave the room I needed to go into. I quickly drew my sword and sliced one of them in the stomach. I pushed his body to the ground and jumped onto a little table in the hallway. I pushed myself off the table and pierced my sword through the other man's chest. I did a somersault and landed in a kneel. I wiped the blood off my sword on a door frame.

I walked into the room and shut the door behind me, locking it. I sighed and placed my sword back in its scabbard. I turned around and did a survey of the room. There was one giant bed, a little sofa just ahead of it. There were paintings covering the wall and a vanity with a stool.

"Now to find a key." I mumbled.

I began looking through the room, I began digging through the drawers of the vanity and the bed side tables. I took all the paintings off the wall and checked to see if they had anything to do with keys. I got to the last one and when I picked it up, this cold feeling touched my finger tips. I flipped around the painting and saw a drawing of a key within a glass casing.

"MEN DOWN!" I heard a man's voice yell.

"Hell." I muttered. I knew I needed to get the drawing out without cutting myself. I scanned over the room and grabbed a pillow off the bed. I placed the painting on the ground, glass side up and placed the pillow on top. I stomped my foot on it to muffle the sound of the glass shattering. I tossed the pillow off to the side and picked up the piece of cloth with the drawing. I stuffed it in my pocket and ran towards the window.

I unlatched the window and crawled through as I heard the doors bust open. I ran across the broken pavement and jumped into the salty  ocean. I emerged from the surface and began to swim away from the mansion, with prisoners. It was a very interesting uneasy place, I'll tell ye that.

As I swam farther into the sea, coffins began coming into my eye shot. I swam over to one and climbed on top to relax me bones.

After catching me breath, I grabbed me knife out of me holster on my thigh and stabbed through the wood. I cut through it and ripped the rest and I ripped the leg off a dead man.

"Sorry Mate." I apologized. I began using it as an oar and began to row towards the Black Pearl in the distance. I got to the ladder and Gibb's held out his hand. I placed the leg in his hand and climbed back onto the deck.

"Where is it deary?" My father asked very eager, not really caring about me. I sighed and grabbed the piece of cloth from my jacket and handed it to him. He looked to me and smiled wildly and began to walk off.

Gibbs patted me back and walked next to Jack, I just rolled my eyes and took off my wet jacket and placed it on some ropes to dry.

I than walked over to Jack and Gibbs, the crew looked very angry for some reason.

"Captain I think the crew, meaning me as well, were expecting something a bit more...shiny." Gibbs said to my father. "Ay, with the Isla De Merulta going pear-shaped, reclaimed by the sea and the treasure with it."

"And the Royal Navy chasing us around the Atlantic." A crew member said annoyed.

"And the hurricane." Marty acknowledged.

"Aye!" Everyone agreed.

"All in all, it seems some time since we did a speck of honest pirating." Gibbs added. My father looked at the crew, than me and than back to the crew.

"Shiny?" My father asked.

"Aye, Shiny." Gibbs replied.

"Is that how you're all feeling than? Than perhaps dear old Jack is not serving your best interest as Captain?" My father said with a disappointed tone.

Cottons parrot squawked. "Walk the plank." My father quickly pulled his pistol and held it at the bird.

"What did the bird say?" He yelled.

"Do not blame the bird." The same crew member said, from before. "Show us what you have gotten your daughter to steal for you." He said to him, giving me a quick glance. I just sighed and leaned against the mast. Just than Jack the Moneky, scared my father, grabbing the piece of cloth from his hand, My father attempted to shoot Jack but his gun was empty. He than took mine.

"Hey!" I yelled. He shot Jack and the monkey dropped the cloth. He screeched some more and than jumped onto my shoulder.

"I'm sorry Mate, he's so bloody mean." I said in a higher pitched voice as I scratched his head. Marty ran forward and grabbed the cloth.

"It's a key." He said.

"No. Much more better." My father said excitedly as he ran forward and grabbed the cloth from Marty's hands. "It is a drawing of a key." All the crew stepped forward, including me self. My father shot me a glance and I knew what it meant.

"Gentlemen, what do keys do?" I asked. All the crew looked at me.

"Keys...unlock things." The crew member said.

"And whatever this key unlocks, inside there's something valuable. So we're setting out to find whatever this key unlocks." Gibbs said to my Father.

"No! If we don't have the key, we can't open whatever we don't have that it unlocks. So what purpose would be served in finding whatever needs be unlocked, which we don't have, without first having found the key what unlocks it?" My father babbled, he always made everything ten times more difficult than it needed to be.

"So we're going after this key." Gibbs exclaimed.

"You're not making any sense at all." He sighed. "Any more questions?"

"So...do we have a heading?" I asked.

"Ah! A heading." My father joyfully said. He pulled out his compass and waved his finger around in random directions. "Set sail in a...Uh...general...that-way direction." He pointed to the starboard side of the ship.

"Captain?" Gibbs said confused.

"Come one, snap to and make sail, you know how this works. Go on." He ordered and began to walk off. "Blair come with me." He stated.

"Ay!" I nodded my head and walked behind him into his cabins.
