My father climbed onto the ship and stumbled around as me and Gibbs quickly came to his side. Pintel came around and placed his jacket on him.
"Let's put some distance between us and this island and head out to open sea." Gibbs stated.
"Yes to the first. Yes to the second, but only insofar as we keep to the shallows." He mumbled, as Pintel abd Ragetti put on his jacket.
"That seems a bit contradictory Captain." Gibbs said.
"I have faith in your reconciliatory navigational skills, Master Gibbs. Now where is that Monkey? I want to shoot something." He said the last part annoyed. Just than Jack the monkey dropped Ragetti's eye on the ground and than ran across the netting. I just started giggling. Will than placed his hands on my shoulders and moved me aside to get to Jack.
"Jack, Elizabeth is in Danger." Will said.
"Have should considered keeping a more watchful eye on her or just locking her up somewhere?" My father babbled as he walked up to the helm. Will and me following.
"She's locked up, bound to hang for helping you." Will acknowledged with slight fear in his voice.
"There comes a time when our must take responsibility for one's actions." My father said, like nothing was wrong. Will than took a sword from another one crew member and held it to my father's neck." I quickly took my sword out and held it to Will's neck. He looked at me shocked and I just kept a straight face.
He than looked back to Jack. "I need that compass of yours Jack. I just trade it for her freedom." He just cocked his eye brows at Will and took the sword off his shoulder and moved to his another one.
"Mr Gibbs?"
"Captain."
My father quickly came over to Gibbs who was by the wheel. "We have a need to travel upriver." I stared at him my eyes going wide.
"By need, do you mean a trifling need? Fleeting, As in a passing fancy?" Gibbs questioned.
"No...a resolute and unyielding need." He sighed and walked to the railing. I came up beside him as Will came to other side of him.
"What we need to do is make sail to Port Royal with all haste!" Will whined.
"William, I shall trade you the compass if you will help me to find this." My father said as he pulled out the cloth with the drawing of key and showed it to Will. He looked at it confused, his eyes wandered to mine.
"Do as he says." I smiled. He looked back to Jack.
"You want me to find this?" He asked pointing at it.
"No...you want you to find this. Because the finding of this finds you incapactiorially finding and/or locating in your discovering in detecting of a way to save your dolly belle, ol' what's her face. Savvy?" My father rambled on. The thing about my father is that he made things ten times more difficult just so they won't catch on to the grey area and just say yes to him...he's a brilliant idiot. But lucky for me I could figure out the grey area and play along.
Will looked at him angrily and took the cloth from his hands. "This is going to save Elizabeth?"
"How much do you know about Davy Jones?" I asked.
"Um...not much." He replied.
"Yeah...that's gonna save Elizabeth." I stated and walked down the steps. The sails were lowered as I walked across the main deck.
After an hour of travel, we arrived at the river. The ship was anchored and we got into two separate boats. Me, Gibbs, Pintel, Ragetti, Mary and Will occupied one as some other crew mates along with me father occupied the other. We began rowing down the river to Tia Dalma's shack.
