chapter 7

Atsushi pov

It's been about a week now since my encounter with akutagawa I wonder..why? Where is he? Wait! Why am I worrying over him? We are from two different agencies so maybe there's has him busy. If that's the case

"Nothing I can do about it!" I fake smiled knowing I did wanna see him but can't be help I suppose

next my phone went off I picked it up to my ear to answer

"hello?" I replied

"good morning atsushi-kun!!" I heard dazai's cheery voice on the other line

"morning dazai what's up"

"I wanted to let you know you have no work today due to kenji taking your job so you can do whatever!" My eyes widened surprised

"o-ok tell him I say thank you have a good day" I then hung up standing up slowly to grab my shoes to still slip them on. I'm wondering what I should do today? I then grabbed the handle to walk out of my house as I did so I made it all the way down to the cross road till someone came up panting behind me.

"WERETIGER!" I turned to see the man I was thinking about so effortlessly I saw him holding himself up breathing heavily. I was about to speak as he wrapped his arms around me making me freeze in place for a good minute till I felt tears on my clothes as he hugged me tighter.

"Pathetic isn't it..I was so busy yet I dropped it all today.."

"Why?" I asked

" because..." he pulled away. It felt lonely as he did so but I looked at him as he grabbed the side of my face softly his hands were cold. I had the feeling they would be but there also soft I leaned my face into his hand.

" I missed you surprisingly and I wanted to hang out..." he spoke I was about to respond but he did again

"IF YOU DON'T HAVE ANY PLANS IF YOU DO I WON'T TROUBLE YOU!" He rambled out I couldn't hold it in I started giggling loudly

"w-why do you laugh? Did I say something amusing?" He tilted his head to said cocking a brow as I tried to control my laughter so I can answer him

"I-I'm s-so sorry akutagawa" I kept laughing then finally caught y breathe to stop

"it was just kinda cute how you ramble" I smiled at him pink hinted on my cheeks as his eyes widened then he took a step closer to me making me turn more flushed

"D-do you mean that! Answer me! How am I cute?"

"You just can be...can you not be so close now pls.."

"Of course my apologies weretig-"

"atsu.."

"huh? "

"Call me atsu instead..please" I just want to hear him say it if I'm being really honest

"ok atsu" once it came out of his mouth I was smiling so bright like some idiot

"atsu would you like to hang out today?"

"I love to ryunosuke.." I said his name seeing him then look away a bit red I giggled seeing his reaction grabbing his hand and dragging him with me.
