The lunchroom is a place of destruction. A place of uncontrollable chaos, a place of terrifying fate for losers, a place were one false step would mean war. We all had our own spot at the lunchroom. The nerds would usually be locked in a small corner table where they were surrounded by a bunch of bullies.

No body messed with us so we just sat there and talked. We didn't eat. The food was horrible. It was either thrown away or used as ammo. There hasn't been any food fights recently so that's a positive thing.

Jean:so guys what should we do afterschool?

Nickie: we can play basketball...but I'm too lazy for that.

Mason: then why did you bring it up if you weren't going to play.

Nickie:*sticking her tongue out* I don't know.

Derek: well we can...

*Derek was interrupted by the screaming old lunch ladies telling us to leave the cafeteria*

Alex: Haha you got interrupted.

Derek: so what. Does it mean that I won't be able to say what I was going to?

Jean: you don't know. Maybe the World doesn't want you too say whatever you were going to say.

Derek: let's just go outside.

*we walked outside and went to our usual corner of the play ground.*

Derek: so what I was saying was maybe we could...

*before Derek could say another word he was interrupted by the huge multitude of people surrounding the top bully in school and someone else.*

Nickie: let's go check out what is happening.

Alex: ok

Derek:*sigh* dang it I hate it when you are right Jean.

*pushing our way through we found a new kid on the floor, his books on the floor everywhere and the bully ripping every page one by one of the kids Harry Potter book.*

*I immediately turned to look at Nicki. Her eyes were just glaring at the bully. I bet she was on fire. The rage just about to blow out of her. I knew this was not going to end well. There was about to be a fight and it would be all five of us against the five of them.*

Nicki:Dammit Eric why can't you just get it through your thick skull that you should stop bullying kids. What is wrong with you. You think that just because you're big and bad everyone has to do what you say. Well no. So you can just get out of here, go cry in a corner, I don't care. Just leave before I have to punch your lights out.

*Eric just looked back at his friends and made the motion as if he were to push Nicki...but it was only to make her flinch. After that I knew I couldn't just sit there and watch.*

*I was about to step up but Mason beat me to it*

Mason: listen to me you worthless piece of garbage if I ever catch you bullying anyone else I will personally go to your house and beat you up right in front of your mom.

*Eric must have gotten tired and pushed Mason to the ground. That was the last straw. So I punched Eric in the face and he was ready to rumble. One of Eric's friends grabbed me from behind but Mason quickly got up and kicked that guy in the leg. Alex and Jean also joined in the fight.*

Something felt different though. I felt different. I was literally beating up Eric but this feeling in me wanted more. I wanted more than just hurt him. More than just teach him a lesson. More than just knock his lights out. I felt like I was eventually going to kill him.

I wanted to stop but I couldn't. He eventually crawled on the floor begging me to stop. I think he was already bleeding. I was finally going to punch him in the face to end this once and for all. But my fist was stopped. I felt a cold, rough, strong hand clenching my fist tightly. I knew who it was. So I didn't even look back. I couldn't look away from Eric's scared face. Staring at me.
