Derek's P.O.V
*As I unfolded the super complicated lawn chairs and inflated the beach balls I could here the others conversations from here.*
Alex: This it's going to be the best pool party ever.
Mason: *sarcasticly* Is it because we're not going to the community pool. Or because we aren't using your kitty pool?
*Luke, Destiny and Jean Laugh*
Alex: Yes and that's not my kitty pool. It's my sisters.
Mason: Suuure.
Luke: this is actually the first time I get to use this pool with friends. I hope all of you enjoy it.
Jean: Speaking of All of you Umm... Destiny is it?
Destiny: yes.
Jean: Did you bring a bathing suit or anything?
Destiny: Oh no. And I don't have time to go back home and grab one.
Nickie: *Walks down the stairs* I here girl trouble.
Destiny: *raises her hand* Girl trouble right here.
Nickie: what's up?
Destiny: I don't have anything to wear to go swimming.
Nickie: I got you hun. Come with me. I have the perfect thing for you. I just bought it.
Destiny: You're a total life saver.
Nickie: I know. *smiles*
Destiny: *holds Nickie's hand and they scurry up the stairs giggling. They then go into the room locking the door behind them.*
Derek: *walks in with a beach ball.* While the girls get ready someone help me place the tiki torches.
Mason: I'll help you. *gets up and knocks the beach ball out of Derek's hand*
Derek: *Gets the lighter and torches*
Mason: *looks around for a spot to place the torches* Place them over there so when we dive in the splash doesn't extinguish the flames.
Derek: Ok but I said help me.
Mason: Oh don't worry I believe in you. You can do it on your own.
Derek: *Jabs the torch into the ground* Then why did you come out here.
Mason: I want to talk to you.
Derek: *while walking to the next torch spot* About?
Mason: Destiny.
Derek: What about her?
Mason: I'm worried.
Derek: *jabs the next torch in.* Dude just talk. Stop making these random pauses.
Mason: I'm worried because she doesn't know the situation we're in.
Derek: And you don't want to put the girl you love in danger. Aww that's so sweet.
Mason: *glares at Derek*
Derek: *clears throat* carry on.
Mason: What should I do?
Derek: I don't know man.
Mason: DEREK please help me. It pains me...so much to say this but. Can you give me some advice?
Derek: *tries not to break into his happy dance* Listen. Let's talk. Man to almost man.
