JAKE'S POV:
"Jake! Come down your food is ready!." mom yelled from downstairs.
I covered my ears with the pillow and snuggled deeper into my bed. I really didnt want to wake up this early in the morning.
"Jake!! Are you up or not?!" came mom's voice once again making me get up from my heaven without much choice.
Freshening up real quick i reached downstairs and entered the kitchen.
I could smell the coffee and the pancakes making me feel quite a bit hungry.
As i sat down to have my food i watched as my brother rush down the stairs all ready to head for school.
"Mom! I am going to school. Sorry, but don't have time for breakfast today! Bye mom!" he said and glanced at my direction giving me a cocky smirk. With that he was out of the house before my mom or I could give a reply.
"Oh God! Why couldn't he eat something this early in the morning? Such a brat boy he is." Mom wispered to herself.
I sighed to myself and started to eat the pancake. Without much thought I asked " Mom why can't I go to school?"
Even though i know what she is going to tell me, i still couldnt help myself from asking the question. As expected her reply came,
" Jake, we have discussed this before. Being the next leader in line, we have to protect you from potential danger. Please dont ask me this again."
I finished my food,had my coffee and went back up to my room. Walking towards the window I watched the thick forest that lay infront of me wondering what mysteries it held..
Yap as u guys might have guessed I have never stepped out of this house as long as I can remember and whenever I question my dad (the alpha) and mom (the luna) on why i cant go out, their answer is that im in line for alpha and they are trying to protect me..
Dont you think its stupid?
If I had to be strong I had to face whatever is out there right?..once I tried to reason with them but let's just say that it ended really bad..so from that day onwards I have not questioned them much.
I hope that one day I could step out and enjoy a bit..
I hope that this doesn't just remain a wish..
My wolf gets restless sometimes but I have no choice other than to control myself without lettting him out..i just hate this life!
My brother gets to enjoy his life being a normal kid..going to school..making friends..partying !..while I am stuck here due to some stupid things!.
