JUNGWON !

i took a sip from my strawberry milk, as i took out my phone to check if someone messaged me.

eh, nothing

and so i put it inside my pocket, and started walking

the weather is so chilly today, i should've worn something much thicker, oh right i need to buy stickers because why not

i walked along with the wind, totally enjoying the company

*thud

i suddenly heard a loud thud noise coming from that dark alley, i hesitated whether to check or to run

*thud

i heard it again, i walked towards it slightly hoping i could see what's happening

and there i saw a boy protecting a girl from getting beaten up, he was against 2 man

"look, i'm not here to fight" i heard him from afar

i noticed the state of the girl, all bruised up

i clenched my jaw, my guts telling me to go there and help them, but then i'm afraid that i might be in danger because of this

"ugh fine" i said after contemplating with my mind for straight 10 seconds

i started walking towards them, the 2 men looking at me and scoffed

"hey lady, you better run before i catch you" the man said and did a "i'll kill you" sign

my eyes were focused on the girl, she needs help right now, i went towards her and helped her stand up

"woah woah woah, and who are you?" the man asked me, after he held my shoulder aggressively

"i don't know what ya'll are doing with yall life beating a girl, but i'm pretty sure i'm in the right mind to help her" i said and rolled my eyes

i heard him 'tsk' "and what are you doing with your life minding someone else's business?" he said getting near me

i slowly stepped back, thinking if i should hit his groin or kick his face

"oh so now you're gonna hurt another girl?"the boy spoke,

the tension in the atmosphere suddenly went bOom

oh dear, your life is in danger- i said in my head

it suddenly happened, the boy's hand is now on top of the man's face

that must be very painful

i quickly went towards the girl and helped her get up, she hurted her ankle and her right arm is completely bruised

*WEE WOO (police XD)

"Drey, the police are here run" the man said as the two of them ran while the other one's holding his face

i helped her walk towards the car police, i can feel her hands gripping on my shirt

it must've hurted alot

i carefully placed her inside the car, "take her to the hospital officer" he nodded as the other ones are interviewing the boy i was with earlier

i  clapped my hands, thankful that i'm still alive

it took me a few seconds before walking away from that area, i fixed my hair and was about to walk away until i felt someone hold my shirt

preventing me to walk

"hey what-"

"what do you think you're doing?" the boy from earlier said to me, his eyes looking at me

"uh- i thought i could help the gi-" he held both of my shoulders aggressively, "and who are you to help?" he said still holding onto me tightly

i groaned in pain from his touch, i tried to let his hand go from my shoulders but he was just there looking at me

"she could barely walk, i just wanted to help" i said before pushing his hands away from me, "she was so close to dying, i just wanted to help" i said, again.

"and what? get yourself killed?" he fought back, his hands now on his pockets, "hey dude, look idk what your problem is but i just wanted to help. " i said and walked away

"HEY!" i heard him from my back, i ignored him and continued walking

"what now-" he shushed my mouth and walked beside me, "the 2 men, they're after you" he whispered to me

"those men are criminals" he added, "you can hold onto me" he said and showed me his arm

"my original plan was to knock them down before the police arrives, but you came and time took longer" he sighs

oh

"oh i'm so sorry, i just wanted to help the girl" i said

i'm feeling guilty, i should've minded my own business

"its ok, i'm working on plan B right now" he said and smirked

i noticed that we're in a dead end,

um

"freeze!" the police said, and now i realize the two men were after us all along

he lead them to a deadend, that boy's a genius

"oh f-" i heard of em said as the police hand cuffed them, "thank you jungwon" the officer said and they shook hands

i saw him smile, before saluting

i was there, just standing-

"well, i'll take you home lady" jungwon said and started walking his hands in his pockets, "no nee-" he's still walking making me forcely catch up with him

"i'm genius" he said and looked at me, he smirked and winked, "yea you are" i said and rolled my eyes

"Jungwon" he offered his hand

"Yours." I said and shookt hands

"HAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHA your face PFFFT" i said and laughed, "wh-huh" he confusely said and covered his red ears

OH MY HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHA

we stopped at my door, "well this was such a weird interaction.." i said and scratched my head

"well, stay safe always.. mine?" he said and winked

uh huh-

"PFFFTT YOUR FACE HAHAHAHAHAHHAHA" i scoffed and punched him, "ouch, alright alright stay safe miss!" he said before handing me a water bottle

with his number on it
