We're born alone, we live alone, we die alone. Only through our love and friendship can we create the illusion for the moment that we're not alone.

A quick glance is all it takes to change the way you remember someone, and that's exactly what Marceline is currently contemplating- along with the fact she knows this idiot.

His eyes stay shut for a few more minutes until the body the other side of him wakes up and rushes out the door, dressing herself while she's running from Marceline's glare. His eyes fully open and he awakes,he sees Marceline not a moment later and groans,

"Marc,get out."

Her arms cross over her chest,"Yeah, maybe I should."

The slams the door shut behind her and struts back to her own house, sinking into the sofa she sighs, she shouldn't have seen him like that again.Finn and Marceline have been friends since she was 15,and that was almost three years ago. He'd quickly become her best friend, but last year he got mixed up in the wrong crowd and clearly- he hadn't broken old habits.

She is more so angry about the White powders she found wedged between his sofa than the fact of the girl in his bed and the stink of liquor, she'd told him enough times that she'd never talk to him again and now it really did seem like he chose his addictions over her,and she will learn to be okay with that.

Finn doesn't realise that she has problems too, she's gay,

Really,really gay.

Marceline has never been straight in her life and the only reason she's going to this thing is to meet other girls who are confused and maybe, just maybe play around a little.

She doubts she will though, she doesn't want anymore crying ex girlfriends on her table.

What she wants is a new friend and she's already getting one- hopefully.

Her eyes flicker to her tv,and of course there's a toned guy on screen and all she can do is cringe and change the channel to a horror movie station.

She knows in three hours time she'll regret watching all of the movies she's about to watch, but it detracts her from life problems and everything else.

To her surprise, three hours later she's waking up from a nap she doesn't remember agreeing to.Marceline stretches out her legs lazily, she hardly moves for the next five minutes.

Her phone screen lights up and someone's given her a friend request,

Bonnie wants to be friends.

Marceline cracks a small smile and taps the accept button almost too quickly. She wonders if Bonnie had spent twenty minutes prepping herself to click the 'add' button, which she probably had.

She decides to let Bonnie take it easy and sends the first message,

Hey,

She waits patiently for the other to finish typing,

Hi- I hope you're okay with a total stranger adding you..it's just we met the other day and you seemed really cool and I liked that so I searched you up and...

The message drags on and Marceline isn't much of a reader, she replies anyways because she understands what the girl means and they end up texting for hours. It's fun because they only know so much about another, they're both...you know, and they only really know the physical features of another, but by three in the morning Marceline knows that Bonnie hates sour candy (which she likes),and loves watching CSI (which they both agree is amazing next to Criminal Minds) Marceline tells her about a show called Supernatural and Bonnie is currently half way through the second episode- she loves it.
