Keeper (Niall Horan short story)

Part V

Hello everybody! I'm sorry it took so long, I was at the beach with no internet whatsoever, so I had to wait so long!!!! I'm really sorry, I hope you all had a marvelous start of 2013!!!

ZOE:

"... I won't hurt you."

She knew he wouldn't. The look in his eyes told her that. Told her that he was worth taking a chance, he was worth risking herself. Because he seemed to be the kind of guy who is always there for you, and Zoe liked that feeling. Of course, it would take a while to get over Liam, but if they could take it slow, she knew she could get used to having him as a part of her life.

"I just have to ask you one thing," Zoe clarified. The blond Irish guy nodded, for her to continue. His hypnotizing blue eyes were shining as the light hit them. He was really something wonderful to stare at. All of him. "Give me time. I really like you, Niall, I do, but I need time."

He smiled at her, his braces showed and made him look cuter than ever.

"I don't need to hurry up. I'll be here as long as you need me, believe me."

And she believed him. She didn't even know why, but it was time to let herself be happy. Maybe Liam wasn't the right guy for her, maybe he really liked Sam. And she couldn't blame her best girl friend, she had never told her how she felt towards Li, if she liked him and she could have him, it was fair. She had a blond braced guy to take care of her, and who kept surprising her with every word that came out of his mouth.

And she loved that about him.

"I believe you," she smiled, getting close to him once again. He held her waist and stuck their foreheads together like before. Zoe laughed. "My, you really are a keeper, Niall."

He laughed making her grin grow bigger, that was another thing she loved about him, his cheerful laugh.

"Right back at you, Zoe." He smiled.

There, Zoe knew that it would be fine. That she could trust him, and that she could, after so long, try to start all over again.
