And just like that the season ended with Firey and Leafy sailing into the distance, Flower won, and I'm happy she did, but as I thought back to the votes, I got a little sad.
I got less than half the votes that Flower got, so I started questioning myself why.
Why didn't many people vote for me? Was I not good enough? Was I too annoying? I still got the bfb, but I only got it out of pity and Flower's kindness.
I just sat there, until Lollipop came over.
"Why do you look squishier than usual? You seem upset."
"It's nothing." I replied.
"I can tell when someone is sad, I was in the team with the most drama before the split! So I'd say I have a good sense of empathy."
I looked up at her, and then confessed.
"It's just... Flower got so many more votes than me! I'm not jealous, or anything, but I'm just wondering why so many people voted for her!"
"Oh, Jelly Man, it's not because voters didn't like you, I think it's mostly because last episode Flower saved the show, so voters thought that she deserved it because of it, but that doesn't mean you are inferior to her." She explained.
"But still, she got so many! And she only did one special thing, I thought people might have recognized my great beatboxing skills, and thought I deserved the it!"
Lollipop laughed.
"Look, they are just voters. They don't know anything. If it weren't for the change from vote to eliminate to vote to save, I would've gone out ages ago! Just because I'm not that nice of a person." She muttered the last part with a scowl on her face.
"I, guess you're right, thanks Lollipop."
"No problem Jello!" She spoke happily.
I hugged her.
"You really are a great friend." I told Lollipop.
"Friend? I always thought you thought of me as more than one." She responded playfully.
"Do you mean like, best friends?" I asked excitedly.
"You're getting close...... Actually I'm not patient enough for this." She said.
Lollipop then lifted me up and kissed me on the lips.
"That should give you an idea on what I was hinting at." She smirked.
Before I could say anything else, she was already walking away with a skip in her step.
I was confused for a moment, then finally realized what she meant.
WOW, SHE THINKS OF ME AS HER BESTEST FRIEND!!!
