(This takes place in an au where Firey and Leafy didn't leave to their own island just because this may turn out a lot longer, and I don't like stories that drag on for too long)
It's been a while since bfb ended, and it was a great relief not needing to worry about any challenges or elimination for once.
I've recently became a much happier person, as Gelatin's happy personality started to inspire me to be the same!
"Oh, look at that nice hill! That's one mighty fine hill if I do say so myself!"
"Leafy, that's just a bump in the field."
"Now don't go taking the half empty route Firey! It can be a hill if it wants to!"
"Alright then, I guess."
Me and Firey were just strolling around in The Pillary Ruins as we had a lot of free time on our hands.
"Hey Leafy, didn't you once mention that you wanted to get closer to more people?" Firey asked.
"Why of course!"
"Well you have done that, you repaired your friendship with Bubble, became singing pals with Ruby, turned into Woody's mental support, as well as getting closer me! But I remember you saying there was one more person you wanted to on better terms with?"
"Oh yes, I pretty sure that was Lollipop I was talking about. She doesn't seem to like me all that much, so I want to become better friends with her! Though, I feel like that may be unrealistic thinking...."
"Why do you say that?"
"Well, we are basically complete opposites! How would I ever be able to get her to like me?"
"Hey hey, you don't need to think of it that way! Haven't you become a lot more optimistic recently? You should be looking on the bright side!" He said.
"You're right! But I just don't know how exactly I am going to get her attention."
"Maybe you can start by confessing your feelings?" He suggested.
"Don't word it that way, you make it seem like I have a crush on her, which I don't." I told him.
"Hehe, ok, but still, you should first just tell her that you want to become better friends with her, then move on from there."
"Alright, I'll take your advice!"
The next day....
Alright, today is the day I try to befriend Lollipop! Hopefully this turns out well.....
I walked over to Lollipop and waved a little.
"Hello, Lolly! How are you doing?"
"Fine, I guess, but what are you doing?" She asked.
"I just wanted to confess about something...."
"Finally confessing about having a crush on me? Not surprised. My looks do blow people away..."
"NO! I mean- no, what I MEANT, was that I wanted to confess that I want to be friends, with you."
"Oh really? Just a friendship? That's all? Nothing more?"
"Nope!"
"Hmm, but now when I think about it, I don't think I would want to be friends with Balloony's heartless killer...."
"Lollipop, that was like 3 years ago."
"Yeah, you're right, alright then, I accept you as my friend."
"Really." I was in genuine disbelief.
"Yep! As long as you promise not to kill anymore people."
"I promise!"
"Then we are now officially friends, congratulations. Though, I wouldn't mind if you wanted to be something more..."
"Lollipop. No."
"Ok fine."
