"Godsbody," Nysaiah says to the Daedra her and her husband had saved a few years ago. They decided to name him Godsbody after Mehrunes Godsbody, because he looked like a small version of him.

Godsbody looks back at Nysaiah. "Yeah, Nys?" He says in his deep, rough voice.

Nysaiah takes a deep breath. "Maybe you should go out and play with the other kids. It would do you some good to meet the people of this city."

Godsbody nodded and moved towards the door. "Just be careful, Godsbody." He nodded and walked out, closing the door behind him.

Godsbody finds himself where some of the Dunmer kids play. For a little bit they didn't know he was there, but once they did, a horrified look crossed their face. "DAEDRA!" One screams.

"D-Daedra?" Godsbody asks, but the kids ran instead of answering his question. He follows the kids thinking it was part of a game. They ran through the city and the kids eventually find a guard.

"Daedra!" They yelled at the guards. At first they thought it was a joke, until they saw Godsbody following behind. The guards drew their swords and that's when Godsbody realized that they weren't playing a game. The kids were actually afraid of him. Even the guards were almost too scared to approach him.

"Is that.. Dagon?" Someone says. Godsbody didn't know who this 'Dagon' was but it didn't sound good. He holds his arms up showing that he didn't do anything bad, but the guards didn't seem convinced.

"Kill it!" Someone else shouts at the guards. Godsbody panics and runs, he hears the guards following. He runs faster. He tries to find his way back home but he doesn't know where it is. The city is unfamiliar to him.

"Stop!" Godsbody hears Nysaiah yell. He runs towards her voice. He sees her and runs behind her. "Gods, are you ok?" She asks him. He nods and the guards approach them. "Please don't hurt him." Nysaiah says to the guards.

"Why do you have a Daedra? More importantly, why do you have one that looks like Dagon himself?" The guards don't put their swords away.

Nysaiah tells the guards about how she and her husband found Godsbody at the Daedric portal and took him in. They've been taking care of him for about a year now, but no one knew about it.

"Let's go home, Gods." Nysaiah says to Godsbody after the guards leave. He nods and she leads him home.

"Mom," Godsbody says, and Nysaiah looks at him. "Who's Dagon?" For a moment Nysaiah looks troubled, then Audret walks in the room.

"Is everything ok in here?" He asks. Nysaiah looks from Audret to Godsbody.

"Gods asked who Dagon is. It's time he knew, Audret." Then Audret looked troubled and Godsbody knew it wasn't good. Audret puts his hands together then sits down.

"Gods.. Mehrunes Dagon is the Daedric Prince of destruction. He's mostly known for well, destroying things." Audret gives a nervous chuckle. "Dagon is powerful and he has his own realm, much like ours. It's just debris, lava and dust."

Godsbody nodded. "But why did people say I look like this Mehrunes Dagon?" Audret looked at Nysaiah.

"Because, Gods, you're like a tiny version of Dagon. You look almost just like him. People are scared of you because you're a lot like Dagon in a way but you're better then him." Nysaiah says. "We think that Dagon may be your father, or your creator. You're not Dagon though, you're you." Godsbody stopped listening though.

Godsbody now saw why everyone hated him. He was the son of a force of destruction. No one liked destruction, and for him to be wearing the face of it, he knew it couldn't be different.

"Look," Godsbody looks at Audret as he speaks. "Dagon has done some bad things, but that doesn't define you, Gods."

"It does define what people think of me though. If I have the same looks as Dagon then I might as well be him. Everyone will think of me as the son of destruction, if not a part of him." Godsbody says back. "I won't be seen as normal."

"Gods.." Nysaiah tries to say.

"No," Godsbody interrupts. "I'll just stay in my room, it's probably better for everyone that way." Godsbody ignores Audret and Nysaiah's attempts at stopping him. He goes into his room and shuts the door behind him.

"Nysaiah, we shouldn't have told him."

"Audret, we couldn't have done anything. He would have found out anyway. Don't get mad at yourself. It might have been worse if we didn't tell him." Nysaiah reassures Audret.

Someone knocks on the door. "I'll get it." Says Audret. He opens the door to a kid. "Can I help you?" Audret asks. The kid was a Dunmer girl with dark brown hair and blue eyes.

"Does the Daedra live here?" She asks quietly. "Sorry, I don't know his name." The girl isn't with anyone. Most of the kids would be found with each other playing games.

"Yes, Godsbody lives here. I don't think he wants to see anyone at the moment though. He's a little upset about what happened earlier." Audret doesn't tell the girl about what had just happened between them. "He might feel different about someone else talking to him though."

"Okay. My name is Aranith, by the way." She smiles a little.

"Alright, Aranith. My name is Audret. You can come in while I let Gods know that you're here and would like to meet him." Audret opens the door more to let the girl in, then he leaves to talk to Godsbody.

Audret knocks on Godsbody's door. "Hey,"

"Go away." Is the only response he gets from the young Daedra.

"Look," Audret starts. "I know you're upset about the whole Dagon thing and I'm sorry. You don't have to forgive me. I understand that you need time, but there's someone here who wants to meet you." Godsbody opens the door.

"Who is it?" He asks, more curious then angry now.

"It's a girl. I don't know who she is but she says her name is Aranith and she seems really nice." Audret smiles at Godsbody. "She's in the living room if you want to see her."

Godsbody shyly goes into the living room where Aranith is waiting. She stands up when she sees him. "Hi.." Godsbody says nervously.

"Hey," she replies. "I'm Aranith, but you can just call me Aran if you want." Godsbody walks over to her.

"I'm Godsbody, you can just call me Gods if you'd like though." She holds out her hand and they shake hands. "So, uh, why aren't you scared of me? Since I look like Dagon and all." He does a nervous chuckle.

"Because Dagon is all big and scary. You're not as big and scary. He's also destroyed a lot of cities, you haven't destroyed anything. You're not Dagon, so I don't have a reason to be scared of you. You are a little scary though" Aranith giggles, and Godsbody laughs as well.s

After they're done giggling, Aranith becomes serious again. "Also, I don't think Dagon is as bad as everyone thinks. If Dagon didn't exist, we'd probably be living under some horrible tyrant. Dagon has defeated tyrannical rulers, and empires in the past. He might have been trying to take over Nirn, but he did succeed in taking down the tyrants."

Godsbody didn't know how to feel. Ever since the incident earlier, he thought everyone hated Mehrunes Dagon. He wasn't sure how his parents felt about the Daedric Prince of destruction, but everyone else seemed to despise him. Godsbody now knew someone who didn't hate Dagon.

Then they heard an ear splitting scream, and the sound of fire roaring. Heat and the sound of cracking fire filled the air.
