"Mehrunes Dagon!" They we're just on time. Nysaiah and part of the fighters guild watch as the demiprince Godsbody walks out into the open. "I know you're watching! You always are!" They could clearly see a bright red diamond shaped amulet around his neck.

"Oh demiprince." The voice of Mehrunes Dagon shakes Nysaiah to the bone. The smoothness of his voice frightened her. He sounded to calm to be the Daedric prince of destruction. "You really think you can challenge a Daedric prince? I created you. I will always be stronger." Nysaiah watches as the large form of Mehrunes Dagon comes out of the lava. His muscles ripple as he turns towards the small demiprince.

A redish-orange lightning ripples over Dagon's skin and he seems to disappear in thin air. Miliseconds later, he appears in front of the demiprince Godsbody. Godsbody looked a lot like his prince, but there were many differences. Godsbody's skin is orange while Dagon's is red. Godsbody had the same three sets of horns on his head as Dagon, but he had an extra pair curling like Molag Bal's. He also had the same chin horns as Mehrunes Dagon.

While Dagon only had metal pieces in the upper part of his pointy ears, Godsbody had one in his eyebrow and lower ears as well. Godsbody had markings as well as Dagon, but they were different designs. The demiprince had two swords while the Daedric prince had a large battle axe.

"I challenge who I like." The demiprince spits at Dagon. "I already defeated Molag Bal, and I can defeat you a-"

Mehrunes Dagon holds his hand out, and a set of Godsbody's hands go to his throat. "I've had enough of you, demiprince. Molag Bal is weaker than me. You're nothing." Godsbody let's his hands go limp, and Dagon relaxes his invisible grip on Godsbody's neck.

Godsbody seems to curl up in mid air, then suddenly his limbs go straight out and a beam of light from his amulet hits Mehrunes Dagon in the chest. It seems like the tables have turned. Godsbody doesn't move, but Mehrunes Dagon screams an agony. "GODS!" Nysaiah runs out of her hiding spot and onto the battle field. "GODSBODY STOP!" Nysaiah could feel hands try to stop her, but she brushes them off.

Nysaiah did the only thing she could. She jumps at Godsbody. Her weight knocks him out of the air and onto the dead ground. Once the two land, Godsbody looks at Nysaiah with so much rage, she was surprised he didn't try to kill her.

Mehrunes Dagon was back on his feet. He looked even angrier then Godsbody. Dagon advances on Godsbody. Once he gets in reach of the two, he grabs Nysaiah and throws her to the side. Members of the fighters guild drags her to where they were hiding.

Dagon grabs Godsbody by the throat, and pure terrier fills Godsbody's eyes. Dagon throws him at a large rock, and Godsbody hits it with a loud bang, and he falls to the ground again . He looks back up at the Daedric prince as he lifts his axe above his head. "You, my son." Dagon says menacingly. "Are weak and foolish." Dagon's axe starts falling and Nysaiah looks away. She feels a set of arms grab her and pull her away from what's happening.

Mehrunes Dagon's axe finds its mark and a few seconds later, Godsbody's corpse drifts away into nothing. Someone shakes Nysaiah a little, and she looks to see a portal near by. Before they can enter the portal, Dagon speaks again. "Mortals, I know you're there." Dremora appear in front of the portal as they were about to go though. "I know you've been here the whole time, that's why I may allow you to leave alive."

Mehrunes Dagon walks up to the group of mortals. The mortals look puny compared to the prince of destruction. "You can tell tales of the demiprince's defeat here. Leave before I change my mind." The Dremora part to allow the mortals to leave. The fighters and mages start walking through the portal. Dagon looks straight at Nysaiah.

Nysaiah takes a deep breath and swallows her fear. "Where did Godsbody go?" She asks the Daedric prince before her.

"You're brave to speak to me. You are one of the ones who stole him from me, yes?" Dagon sounded calm, and that's what scared Nysaiah the most. She just nods to his question. "Hmm. To answer your question, Godsbody will reform in his realm he calls Purgatory." Nysaiah nods and turns towards the portal. The Daedric prince watches as the members of the fighters and mages guilds leave through the postal. "You," he says to Nysaiah as the rest of the mortals leave the Deadlands. Nysaiah turns to the Daedric prince before she walks through the portal herself. "Stay."

Nysaiah didn't know why, but she did as Mehrunes Dagon said. "You stopped the demiprince from using the amulet of kings on me, I want to know why. You mortals aren't keen to like us daedric princes."

"You are a part of the house of troubles, Dagon. A long time  ago, a younger but wise Dunmer told me that you weren't the worst prince out there. She gave me her reason, and I understood what she saw in you. I'm sure the little Dunmer still feels the same. You letting us leave may convince her of that truth again, if she doesn't believe anymore."

Mehrunes Dagon nods slowly. "That still doesn't answer why you stopped the demiprince." Dagon comments.

"What Godsbody was doing was wrong. The amulet would have stolen your essence and trapped you inside of it. He did it partially to Molag Bal and he intended to permanently weaken you. As much as many mortals don't like you, you've done good even if it was with bad intent. No one knows what type of prince Godsbody would be."

"Hm. You mortals can be quite wise. I have spared your people because you did me a service by stopping the demiprince. Leave now before I change my mind." The Daedric prince turns away before she steps though the portal.

Nysaiah turns away from him and goes to the portal, but stops. "Thank you, Mehrunes Dagon. I now believe what that young Dunmer told me. Her name is Aranith, by the way." She smiles slightly then enters the portal.
