He smiles that charming, arrogant smile. Like no one can touch him. Like he's above all mortals, and the two mortals and Daedra knew why. They stood before Lord Zor'aciua, among mortals, he was high ranking in the Aldmeri Dominion. Among Daedra, he was a Daedra lord. Why Zor'aciua lived among the mortals, the two mortals and Daedra had no idea.
When Zor'aciua saw the group, he recognized the two mortals, but had no idea who their Daedric friend was. In fact, he didn't even know their follower was a Daedra. He looked like a mortal. "Ah, if it isn't the troublesome mortals, and wherever your accomplice is. Wait, does he know what he's currently walking into? If you don't," He says looking at the tall male behind the two female elves. "You should probably leave. This could get ugly." Lord Zor'aciua says with a smirk.
"I can handle myself, Zor'aciua." The man says back. That only makes Lord Zor'aciua smile wider.
"Well then. Shall we get down to business? That's what you came here for, right, Nysaiah?" He says confidently, but Nysaiah, the taller of the two elves, didn't react. She expected that Zor'aciua would know her name. "Oh wait. How rude of me to not introduce myself to you." He says looking back at the tall Nord man. "I'm Lord Zor'aciua, of the Aldmeri Dominion. You can call me Lord Zor, if you wish." Lord Zor'aciua holds out his hand for the Nord to shake.
"Jurgan." Says the Nord, but his name wasn't really Jurgan, and he wasn't a Nord. Lord Zor'aciua didn't know that though. Jurgan was an alias that the Ruinach Godsbody went by.
"Ah and of course little Aranith." Lord Zor'aciua smirks again. "How lovely to see you again." He says in mock flattery. "So, how may I help you?" He says looking at Nysaiah. "Now that we've got the pleasantries over with, let's get down to the reason you're here." Lord Zor'aciua says, getting serious.
"We're here for some unfinished business, Zor'aciua." Jurgan says. "We can end this quietly, and you come with us, or we can expose you for the vile demon you are." Zor'aciua only laughs.
"Expose me for the vile demon I am? HA!" Lord Zor'aciua laughs even more. "No ones going to believe the likes of you. You're just a couple of low lives." Lord Zor'aciua looks towards the Dominion guards at his doors. "Take them to the dungeons." He orders the guards. "We'll settle this there."
"You Daedra just don't like to die, do you?" Lord Zor'aciua smiles at that.
"You have no idea what you're talking about, fool. Accusing me of being a Daedra can earn you death, so watch your tongue." Lord Zor'aciua turns away from them as the guards approach. "We'll talk later, bye bye now."
There were four guards and three of them. The guards grab them from behind, but none of them struggle out of the guards grips. There would be more guards if they cause a scene. The guards lead them out of the room that they we're meeting Zor'aciua in.
"I have an idea." Godsbody says to Nysaiah once the guards threw them in a cell and left. "I'll duel Zor'aciua. If I win, you won't have to worry about him. If I die, well, I don't know what he'll want. I'm expendable, you're not. I'll just reform somewhere in Oblivion. You'll be dead."
"Yeah that works. As long as Zor'aciua doesn't kill us if he wins." Godsbody nods back. "You'll have to win for us to be safe from Zor'aciua."
"Dagon will probably claim Zor'aciua again once I kill him, but I'm not sure about Kuav'ath. Kuav is one of Molag Bal's Xivkyn, and I doubt Dagon will want anything to do with him. Now we just wait, I guess." Nysaiah nods back.
"Aranith," Nysaiah turns to the young Dunmer. "If you get the chance, run. As Godsbody said, it'll be ok if he dies, but we must survive. So run if you're given the chance."
"Okay. I want to fight, but you're right as always. I'll run if I get the chance." Before Nysaiah could reply to Aranith, Zor'aciua walks into the dungeons.
"Well. What to do with you trouble some mortals?" Zor'aciua puts a hand on his chin.
Godsbody stands up from the floor. "How about we duel? You verses me, to the death. If I win, we go free. You can have something you want in return. However, it is a fight to the death, so only one of us will get what we want."
"Hmm. You know what? I'll play your game, mortal. If I win, I'll set your friends here free. My only condition is that I never want to see them again. That one," Zor'aciua points at Nysaiah. "She seems content on revenge. If I win, I'll set her free, but she must cast away her revenge and stay away from me. I also want the little one to be my personal servant. You two must also keep my secret." Zor'aciua smiles. "Oh mortal, this is going to be fun." He looks back at Godsbody.
"Then let's do this, Zor'aciua. Let's do this way from everyone so they won't see your Daedric nature. I want to fight the Dremora, not this mortal form of yours."
"So be it." Zor'aciua turns away from the group. "I'll have my guards bring you outside and we can do this there. Good luck, you're gonna need it, mortal." Zor'aciua laughs and leaves.
"How are you going to beat him, Gods?" Aranith asks. "I don't want to be that Dremora's servant. You have to win."
"I know, Aranith. I will win. I'll turn into my normal form. Dremora are strong, but not stronger than a Ruinach. Zor'aciua thinks he's fighting Jurgan when he's really fighting Godsbody." Godsbody crosses his arms. "He won't expect it."
"I really do hope that you kick his Dremora ass, Godsbody." Nysaiah gets up and stands in front of Godsbody. "We haven't been on the right foot lately. I don't even know if I want to. You've done some horrible things, and this won't fix what you did." Nysaiah turns away from Godsbody. "I appreciate you trying to get rid of these Daedra, but the past is still the past and you can change the past. No matter what you do now, I can't forgive what you did."
"I'm all honesty, I'm not doing this for you. I never told you why I'm actually here."
"Oh here we go again, with more lies from Godsbody." Aranith says. "In the beginning, I thought you could be a good Daedra, but you're obviously not." Godsbody looks down. That comment from Aranith hurt him, but he didn't have time to talk about this.
"I'm here because Mehrunes Dagon has banished me from the Deadlands until Zor'aciua and Kuav'ath are dead. That's why I couldn't just bring a bunch of Daedra to clean up this mess. I have to do it myself. I can't fail."
"So you're playing the villain that betrayed his family and starts working with the real heroes, then lies to his family telling them he's on their side when really he's still on the villains side." Nysaiah says. "After this, I never want to see you again, Godsbody. If I do, I won't hesitate to send you back to the Deadlands. The only reason I don't want Zor'aciua to kill you is so Aranith will be free." Nysaiah sits next to Aranith and puts her arms around her.
Godsbody goes to the other side of the cell and sits alone. Godsbody knew his loyalties laid with Mehrunes Dagon because that's the way Dagon created him. A part of Godsbody wished that Dagon never found him.
