"Give me the amulet of kings, Godsbody. It's over, Molag Bal is weakened." Sai Sahan says to the the four armed Daedra before him. "We gave you the power to defeat him, it's not yours to keep."
"Ok, you're right, Sai." Godsbody lifts the red diamond necklace off his neck and holds it out to Sai.
Sai reaches out and touches the amulet to grab it. Just as he lays a finger on it, something between his fingers and the amulet explodes and knocks the large Redguard off his feet. He sits up and looks at Godsbody with horror.
"What did you do to it?" Sai sounded angry but scared at the same time.
"I didn't do anything." Godsbody was confused as well. "I don't even know what this amulet is. All it did was give me the power to defeat Molag Bal, but I didn't do anything to it."
"It's the Amulet of Kings. The Dragonborn emperors would wear it to keep the dragonfires lit, and keep a veil up between Nirn and oblivion. It kept the Daedra of oblivion out of out of Nirn. It wasn't meant for a Daedra to wear it. Perhaps your Daedric nature changed it. The amulet wasn't meant to be a weapon against the Daedra, it was meant to keep a veil between Nirn and Oblivion." Sai gets up. "Whatever happened to it, we must fix."
"There could be another reason, Sai." Godsbody says slowly. "While I was fighting Molag Bal, something happened. Some sort of power came out of the amulet and destroyed Molag Bal's strength. That's how I beat him. It wasn't me, it was the amulet."
"You..." A look of terror crossed Sai's face. "You must have trapped Molag Bal's essence in the amulet... That necromancer wanted to do that to Molag Bal to make himself a Daedric Prince..."
"What necromancer?" Godsbody asks. "I'm not trying to make myself a Daedric prince. I had to follow some of Mehrunes Dagon's orders so he didn't smite me out of existence. I might be a demiprince, but Mehrunes Dagon is still stronger than me."
"The necromancer Mannimarco. He was in the service of Molag Bal, but wanted to take his essence to make himself a Daedric prince. He wanted to be a god, and his plan might've worked the vestige stoped him. You must've done wait Mannimarco was going to do. You trapped Molag's essence within the amulet." Sai takes a deep breath. "Let me speak with the others about this and see how we reverse it without making Molag Bal powerful again." Godsbody nods as Sai Sahan makes his way away from Godsbody.
Godsbody looks at the amulet in his hand, then at Sai Sahan walking away. He looks back at the amulet. He used it to take Molag Bal's essence, maybe he can use it to steal another Daedric prince's essence. Maybe he could use it against the prince that made him who he is. He could use the amulet to stop Mehrunes Dagon from killing him, and be free from Dagon. The amulet was his answer to being free from Mehrunes.
Godsbody looks around for any potential watchers, and sees none. He takes a deep breath and focuses on making himself a sanctuary where he can hide from Mehrunes Dagon and the mortals he's about to betray. Before he knows it, a portal opens up before him. He had an idea in his mind of a sanctuary, and he hopped that's what was on the other side of the portal.
He steps through and the other side is almost like a familiar land he's been in. As he emerges, he sees trees and ruins, but the trees were on fire, and the ruins leaded somewhere unknown. The land was somewhere no one would want to be, especially mortals. It resembled the Deadlands, but it wasn't as dead.
Godsbody turns in a circle to take in his land. A land he created by sheer will. He was shocked at the fact he could do so. Now, he would just have to hide out until he made his plan to be free from the Daedric prince of destruction.

"He's gone! The demiprince is gone and he has the amulet too!" Sai Sahan rushes around and tries to find King Dynar. "Where's King Dynar?!"
"He's gone. He was killed during the fight against Molag. What happened?" Nysaiah walks up to the Redguard.
"He left. I don't know where he went, but he has the amulet of kings and I think he wants to use it on Mehrunes Dagon." A look of horror crosses Nysaiah's face as Sai keeps talking. "He knows he can siphon power out of the princes with the amulet, but I don't know how much power he will have once he uses it on Dagon. He's already partially used it on Molag Bal."
"Why would he do that...? Godsbody has always been compliant when it comes to Dagon. He killed my husband for that monster. Gods is a perfect servant to him." Sai nods but doesn't seem convinced.
"Any Daedra would want to be free from their prince. They have a sort of sire bond to them though. He can plot against the prince, but when that prince orders him to do something, he does it." Sai says. "Daedra are nasty creatures when they find loopholes against their masters."
"Note taken... how are we going to stop Godsbody?" Nysaiah asks. "We have to stop him from doing that to Mehrunes. We might not like the prince, but Godsbody can't siphon his essence into the amulet. He might grow power hungry and attack more then Molag Bal and Mehrunes Dagon..."
"Exactly, Nysaiah." Sai says. "We need to find out where the demiprince went and stop him. He can't use the amulet on the princes." Nysaiah nods.
"We'll need to go into the Deadlands then. We don't know where Godsbody is, so it's best to go to the Deadlands and await him. I never wanted to go there again, but I don't have a choice. Godsbody can't use the amulet against any other Daedric princes.
"Gather the fighters and mages guilds then. To the Deadlands we go." Sai walks away, and Nysaiah goes to find the leader of the mages guild and fighters guild.
