      "GET UPP"
A loud voice woke me up, coming from a government officer. As I slowly rose to my feet and rub my eyes, I see about 3 other kids including the girl I comforted last night, standing in a line with their hands cuffed again.
After I had taken my place in the line, I noticed one thing that was in common throughout me and the kids. We didn't have wings. Obviously I didn't have wings because I wasn't fae-born, but usually faes wings were at least beginning to develop by age 5. Now, I didn't think much of it, but I did find it quite suspicious.
We were marched down a path in the woods. I felt like a Soldier. Trapped, with no where to go but forward towards sudden death. Following me, one of the taller officials held a large club, previously owned by a goblin of sorts. The officer kept whacking the club against his hand making my flinch.
The little kids in front of me looked so scared, and I wish I could run to them and hold them, tell them it was all okay.
The boy in the front of the line was bulkier, red buzzed hair, but he had tan skin, which I took a liking too. He walked like an old soul, like someone who knows about the world. He looked exited, not at all like the other boy who walked behind him.
The second boy was tall and lanky, with floppy brown hair. Almost the exact opposite of the first kid. His shoulders were hunched, and every-time he heard the smallest crack of a stick he flinched. He walked with a limp, obviously in pain. The girl I had met last night was helping hold this boy up.
Her hair was a strawberry blonde, but it was very dirty and tangled. She was also a kind soul, I could tell. Her shoes were so screwed up, her toes were breaking through the front. She h needed new shoes.
"HEY PICK UP THE PACE ABELLA!" Shouted alex, noticing I was walking slower.
"uhh, fine." I picked up the pace, but with a very sarcastic body language.
After walking for a while, we came to a clearing. in front of us, lay a castle, the royals castle to be exact. The castle looked so different. In the news reports, it was white, with the windows open and the sun shining. However, sense the murders, th castle had been vandalized, painted black, and all the windows have been boarded shut. It pained me to see a large
monument such as this in such peril.
outside the castle, a man stood, with a crown in his head and a robe around his shoulders. I shivered in his presence.
Alex walked us to this man, and I looked down, not wishing to meet his eyes.
"Are these the last ones?" The man asked?
"No" Responded Alex.
*slap* The man hit Alex hard. I flinched for him.
"How many more are there?" The man asked, obviously pissed off.
"I'm not sure sir. probably only about 15 children left."  Said alex.
The man was satisfied with that answer, so he turned to face me and the children. He grabbed the closest child to him, that was the shorter, chubby one.
"What is your name, you little scumbag?" He grabbed his shirt tighter, and portrayed a scowl on his face.
"Gabe" responded the kid.
"you will refer to me as sir, gAbE."
"my name is gabe, sir." Said the kid, suddenly afraid.
"and you?" He pointed at the girl next to gabe.
"Maleah, sir." After she said this she hung her head in shame.
"Very well, and you?" He pointed at the taller, stockier boy.
"Dan, sir. Pleased to meet you." This kid new how to kiss up to authorities.
The man smirked before looking at me with a blank stare.
" You must be Abella. What a disgrace to our community."
"Now, lets go over some ground rules, first, you are never permitted to touch anything inside. Next, you are to call me sir at all times, as if 'sir' is my name, and finally, you are to do everything that I and my partners ask you to do." He said, referring to his 'partners' as Alex and the Officials. Sir gave the four of us one last look before pivoting on his heel and walking towards the castle, mentioning for us to follow.
