My Black Ghost: The Second Encounter

"San Shu. You asked for me?"

"Yes. Come here. Sit."

Wu Sanxing was sitting on the sofa looking through numerous papers, maps and blueprints which were spread over the coffee table in front of him. He pointed at the couch on his right side for Wuxie to sit.

"So you are going to raid a tomb again," Wuxie said scrutinizing the maps and blueprints.

He took one from the table which appeared to be a rough floor plan. There were several marking but the most he could find was question marks. Wuxie smirked seeing this. He was getting some ideas about the reason he was asked to come. He put it back on the table and leaned back on the couch with a smile. Wu sanxing was taken back seeing Wuxie face. He avoided his nephew's gaze, formulating a great speech in his mind to coax Wuxie.

"Wuxie."

"Tell me, San shu."

Wu Sanxing glared at him but did nothing to Wuxie who is not a little bit scared of his uncle. He sits back humming a tune to tease his uncle.

"You already figured it, right? Then you tell me. Will you help your uncle?" Wu sanxing asked moving to the right edge of the sofa clearing a certain distance between them.

"N O." Wuxie clearly showed his refusal.

"Ayya.. child this is different. Im not asking it for any illegal things. Its..." Wu sanxing couldn't finish what he wanted to say. Wuxie got up from the couch and waved at him to say bye. As he was about to walk away, his uncle shouted from behind;

"We are going to Heishan*(Black Mountains)." Wuxie was he heard he came from his uncle, he halted. His eyes and mouth opened wide in shock and amusement. He rushed back to the couch sitting on the edge of it. His eyes were literally shining.

"Heishan? For real?"
He asked with an excited voice.

"Yes. See the maps." Sanxing showed him the map of the mountain with a smile of a fisherman who got the fish after he threw a perfect bait.

"This why I called you here. You know this mountain like the back of your hands, don't you?" Wu sanxing asked the adult but now a little kid who was excited getting his favourite toy to play with.

"Yes..." Wuxie said without taking off his eyes from the maps and all in front of him. Suddenly he recalled something. "But... this mountain is sealed off by the government, right? You can't go."

"Aish... This kid." Wu sanxing got up and won't over to his study. From the drawer of the table, he took a Manila folder and bought it for Wuxie to see. He grabbed and unknotted the thread to see a set of paper in it. He carefully took it out since he was sure that it was something important.

"How about now? Can we go?" Wu dancing asked as he saw Wuxie had already understood the content of the file.

"Are sure it's original? I mean why would the government permits you to enter the mountains?" Wuxie was still in disbelief. He put back the documents in the folder. Wu sanxing snatched it back quickly as his nephew was still sneering at him.

"Do you think anyone can forge a government document just like that? You little brat. Why don't trust me huh? The mountain was sealed because the archaeology department found something in it and they didn't want any outside interventions. And after 4 years they finally understood it can be done only with their knowledge and expertise. At least the chance came upon me. It's completely legal. I only got my fees." Wu Sanxing explained in patience. He looked at Wuxie with the most sincere face, to make him agree to help them.

Wuxie has an impressive knowledge of architecture, especially of the ancient Chinese tombs and palaces. But Wu sanxing decided to get Wuxie because of his knowledge of the mountain. He used to go there once a year before the mountain got sealed off. And when that happened wuxie was sad, he lost all interest in his daily life. That's why his family send him out of the town to study.

Wu Sanxing was quick to get wuxie by bringing the name of Heishan. He was sure that he won't miss a chance to go there once again.

"Well. I'm already aware of the expedition going there. So. Okay. I'll help. But you have to take me with you." Wuxie put forward the condition as he knows his uncle very well.

"No problem. You can have a whole tour there. Enjoying the mountain view for 4,5 days. Isn't it great?" It was a great deal for Wu dancing, so he agreed to it without a second thought.

"No. It's not. I'll go with you to the tomb." Checkmate.

"Wuxie that's..."

"I said I will. Hah, Only if you want my help."

Wuxie was on cloud nine. He danced through the corridors to out.

"Xiao San ye... You look so happy." Panzi asked as he saw the happily dancing small bean.

"Is everything ready? Make sure of it. Don't slack of panzi I'm watching you. Okay." Wuxie tapped on panzi as he was lecturing with his ridicule smirks.
"So you're coming with us? Hahaha... Well, it's something I expected."

"Hehe... I have a lot to do. But I was thinking to have fun for today. Panzi I wanna go out."

"I'll finish my job soon. I'll take you to the near market. The food there is awesome."

"No that's okay. But....Can he go with me? I wanna treat him to a meal for yesterday." Wuxie pointed to the man in black standing very far from them.

"That's good. But why are you asking me?" Panzi asked in confusion.

"You tell to him accompany me. If I ask him, surely he will refuse."

"That... Xiao San ye. I'm not that daring to talk to him. Not after the fight."

"Fight?"

"Yes... Seeing him so young, some of the fools here challenged him. And of course, I had to step in to keep our pride. And..."

"And?"

"K.O. It was so embarrassing."

"Wow... So he really is something."

"Huh? Yes, I still have pain. Thank you for your concern."

"Then I think I have to do it by myself. Anyway, thank you for giving me a topic. See you around. I'll come back soon. Tell my uncle."

Wuxie waved at panzi with a smile and walked aiming at the man who was currently checking something long metal.

*Heishan - It translates to Black mountain in Chinese. I just made up a name so don't worry.
And if you read the first book you may already know why Wuxie is interested in this particular mountain. Yes, it's the same mountain.

And the fight between Panzi and Kylin, if anyone here saw the movie 'Time Riders' will know. I just thought of including it.
