(In this story, I use [____] instead of Y/N because I personally think it looks better! Also, I decided on the physical traits already just because I hate using things like H/C or anything like that, but feel free to change it, but you don't have to comment every time you do!! :))

"And the winner of this year's art contest is..." the speakers boomed all throughout Nockfell Junior High. Everyone was in class, and the participants in the art contest have been waiting all week for the results, especially [____] in particular.

She had worked on her art project for weeks. She loved art, and when she heard that whoever won the school's art contest would gain free membership to this art museum that all art people practically fawn over, she had to join it. Also, [____] was just naturally competitive, and art was already one of her best subjects, so why not?

[____] was practically shaking in her chair as she heard drums come from the speakers (a special effect that the principal thought was necessary). Even though she knew that she probably would win, she still had a tiny feeling that something was going to go wrong.

"Larry Johnson! Everyone give the 7th grader a huge congratulations in the hallways, and thank you to everyone who participated!"

[____] felt her heart sink right then and there. She was naturally a good sport and would've gone and congratulated him, but she spent so much time, money, and energy on her piece. Her sweat and tears were on that piece. She ignored everyone around her just so it's perfect, just for her not to win?

[____] had to fight back tears as she heard the bell ring. She gathered her things as she quickly walked out of the classroom. She was trying so hard not to be a poor sport, but it was so hard when you devote all your time and energy to something.

And then she saw him.

"No, no! Thank YOU! I would like to personally thank everyone who believed in me." The brown-haired boy then wiped an imaginary tear as he purposely boasted about his win. "It only took me a few hours, and I wasn't expecting to win, but here I am! I guess you can't blame me for being awesome!"

[____] scowled at the boasting boy. She couldn't believe that he had such indecency to go and brag about his win. [____] couldn't believe him. She'd seen him around the school and she had a few classes with the boy, and as he was normally loud and disruptive during class, she never really noticed him otherwise. But this? This was over the top in her eyes.

The girl took in a deep breath as she tried to hurry past the crowd that was congratulating an asshole. She shut her eyes and put her head down to the floor, not caring if she pushed anyone out of the way or not.

"Hey, you! The girl that's walking by really fast! Don't you want to congratulate this awesome guy right here, too?" The boy pointed [____] out, making the crowd look at her.

[____] could just feel the tears down her face, but she was filled up with so much anger that she didn't care. She whipped around and glared at the brown-haired boy in front of her.

"Are you kidding me? It only took you a few hours? It took me weeks to finish mine. Weeks! But you still win?

And then you go and brag like some entitled asshole? No! Fuck you, Larry Johnson. Some jerk like you doesn't deserve the fucking award."

[____] ended her quick one-sided argument by quickly stomping away to the girl's bathroom. She didn't want to become even more embarrassed than she already was.

This was the day [____] declared war on Larry Johnson.

"So, yeah. We've been like this ever since 7th grade." [____] explained to the blue-haired boy as they walked to their next class. They were now sophomores in Nockfell High School, and the rivalry between Larry and [____] only grew.
