Pumpkin Paul (part 1)

Dawn was on her way upstairs holding a tray with a bowl of fruits and cream, and two cups of coffee, one for her and one for Richard when she decided to check their kids' rooms first.

And since it was still early in the morning, she expected their kiddos still sleeping soundly in the comfort of their beds—which she was right about.

Once Dawn was finished with her rounds after made sure she didn't wake them up, she went back straight to their bedroom.

The moment she stepped inside, she found Richard sitting on the bed while a box was placed beside him.

"What are you doing, babe?" She asks then quickly walked towards him.

"Just found this box yesterday at the closet, love. It's the box we used to store copies of our photos and video records of the kids."

"Uy I want to see that too."

Dawn sat beside Richard after she placed the tray on the nightstand.

"Coffee, papa?"

"Sure, thank you, mama." Richard replied then reached for his cup to take a sip.

Both Richard and Dawn were going through the photos slowly as if they were living the moment.

"Babe, look at this!" Dawn exclaimed and showed him a photo.

Richard laughed as they both remembered that photo of Paul.

"Grabe he wore that white hard helmet all day kaya, he wants to be like his papa daw!"

"Oo nga love, naalala ko even when he was about to sleep suot-suot pa rin niya."

"Yes! We have to show him a photo of you pa na hindi suot yan just to convince him that not all engineer wears their helmet all day."

"Yeah, he took it off pero tinabi pa rin hanggang sa pagtulog."

"Kulit talaga since before." She giggles.

"Eh ito love, naalala mo pa?"

"Let me see." Dawn reached for the photo to check it.

"You take all these shots diba?"

Richard nodded at his wife.

"I still remember the joy he gave us whenever we brought him to play golf with us, super cute!" Dawn recalled the moment.

"I've always dreamed of having my mini-me so I can have someone to share the things I love—"

"And turns out, lahat sila mana sayo!"

"Of course, I won't deny that."

He smiled then quickly locked his wife inside his arms.

Richard laid back at the headboard while Dawn rests her body at the top of his chest, enjoying the warm embrace of her husband.

"By the time you told me you were pregnant with Paul, it was one of my happiest days."

"I know babe, I could still picture out your reaction whenever I tell you news about having our new blessings."

"Those would always be my happiest moments, imagine telling me na you're giving me another child syempre matutuwa ako."

Richard caressed Dawn's arms before he gently nibbled her ears.

"When will I hear that news again, love?"
