"Don't forget to owl me often alright?" her father reminded her as he kissed her head.

They're currently at Platform 9 ¾, waiting for her departure to Hogwarts. She waved her hand sadly at her father before entering the train.

When she was walking around the compartment to find anyone she knows, she saw Megan and Alex, snogging.

Yikes, people in love.

She decided to walk ahead and not sit with them.

Thankfully she caught the sights of Blaise, Daphne, and Pansy, and decided to sit with them. She sat next to Blaise with Daphne and Pansy in front of them.

"How was your break?" Blaise asked her.

"Eventful," Aurelia replied.

Once they arrived at Hogwarts, Blaise hugged her to bid her goodbye before Hermione decided to tackle her with a hug with her boyfriend and best friend on her side.

"Aurelia! I miss you!" Hermione beamed as she hugged Aurelia.

"Miss you too Hermione!" Aurelia pulled Hermione even tighter to her.

"Nevermind me," Ron huffed.

"Hey Ronniekins," Aurelia greeted him before she hugged him.

"Hey, Rellie." Ron ruffled her hair.

"Hey Harry," Aurelia finally acknowledged the very person who's looking awkwardly at her. She didn't know whether to hug him or not, but she decided to go against it.

"Hey," he replied stiffly, nodding at her.

Ron coughed and suggested, "Let's go to our common room yeah?"

Knowing the awkward tension between Aurelia and Harry, Hermione decided to sit next to her. Harry's sitting in front of her so it was still quite awkward but it's still bearable.

The next few days didn't help either. Harry and Aurelia still managed to be the most awkward people around each other and it's starting to bug Hermione and Ron out.

Harry is completely stubborn and Aurelia has too much pride.

Complete chaos together at times.

Not to mention how moody and unpleasant Harry is to be with every time he sees Aurelia with Blaise.

Can't he take his hands off her for just one second? Seriously, it's sickening.

Finally, he's getting himself ready for a party the Gryffindor is throwing for some person's birthday, and apparently, he's wealthy so he decided to treat the whole house.

He wouldn't pass up an opportunity to party, besides it's a Gryffindor-only party, which means, no Blaise.

Annoying little Blaise — though he is actually not little.

"Come here, mate!" Ron called him and he wasted no time approaching him.

The two drank shots after shots though Harry tried his best to not exceed his limit.

He frowned when he saw Hermione greet Ron with no Aurelia in sight.

And there was no Aurelia for the next few minutes.

"What's your name?" Harry whispered to her, gripping his cup of firewhisky tighter.

"Aimee," she answered softly.

"Want to go upstairs?"

She felt sick to her stomach, God, she hates rejecting someone and both are completely her fault. She led the two boys on just for her to reject them.

She didn't mean it truly, she didn't.

Technically she didn't lead Harry on since she does fancy Harry, she just doesn't think she's fully healed from what happened between them. As for Blaise — perhaps she led him on.

Oh, he was nothing but sweet! She didn't realize he liked her that much.

Knowing there'll be a party in the Gryffindor common room, she made her way back to the tower, immediately greeted by the scenery of drunken teenagers.

"Golden age," she whispered to herself.

She made her way to where the drinks were and treated herself with a couple of sips, hoping it'll cleanse everything that happened today.

Dean then diverted his eyes to Aurelia once he saw her and wasted no time approaching her.

"The person I've been looking for!" he beamed before hugging her.

"Hey, Dean!" She pulled him to his embrace as well before asking, "Where's Seamus?"

"Somewhere having fun," Dean answered, chuckling.

"Have you done the rest of the drawings?" queried Aurelia.

"Yes! It's upstairs at my dorm, you can get it now if you want."

"Great!" She smiled brightly. "I'll get it."

"Aurelia, we can do this, I'm sure this will work out." He put his hands on her shoulders encouragingly.

"It will." She did the same to his shoulders.

She then walked past through the sea of teenagers; who looked as if they're fine but she knows all of them are scarred from what happened last year. New year, new start, that's what people say. But is it really true? Is it really a new start? Do people actually move on? or are they just really good at hiding it?

She could hear faint sounds from inside of
Dean's room. Frowning, she knocked on the door and asked, "Is anyone inside? Can I come in?"

There was no answer for a while and she had to repeat her question, "Can I come in?"

"Yes," answered the familiar voice hoarsely. She doesn't have to look at the person to
know who it is.

But she doesn't know the brunette girl next to him.
