The only class Aurelia enjoyed was potions, because she gets to be with her best friend. She's happy that Alex is meeting new people, but that means he's spending less time with her. Alex and Megan are somewhat a thing now, although they're not dating yet.
Sometimes Alex offered Aurelia to join him with Megan, but she feels like she's intruding, and she doesn't want to be a third wheel so most times she's alone.
She usually goes to the astronomy tower when she's bored and wants peace by herself, but this time she's not alone.
"Hermione? What are you doing? It's midnight," Aurelia asked worriedly.
"O-oh n-nothing," Hermione sniffled.
Aurelia instantly sat next to Hermione, "what's wrong?"
"I miss my parents," Hermione cried.
All her hatred towards Hermione instantly left her body and worries took over.
"What happened?" asked Aurelia, concerned. "You don't have to tell me anything if you don't want to," she added.
"They don't know I exist, you see. I implanted a false memory to them b-before the horcrux hunt,"Hermione sobbed. "Ron, Harry, and I, we tried to look for them this summer but couldn't find them. We already asked Kingsley to track them, apparently they're hard to track."
Aurelia's heart dropped. She never thought about the sacrifices the trio must make in order to defeat Voldemort. She didn't know what to say.
"Do you have a place to live now?" asked Aurelia. Stupid stupid she thought. She really doesn't know how to react in this situation, because it's not a very common situation.
"The burrow," Hermione answered.
Aurelia side-hugged her, pulling the crying girl closer, "well if you're bored with Ron, you can always come to my place. It gets boring, you know, with mum not around, I wouldn't mind another girl's company."
"I'm sorry I never approached you after your mom died, Aurelia," Hermione apologized.
"It's alright. It happened years ago anyway,"
"Yes but still, I should've approached you. I don't know how to make it up to you for that, I'm really really sorry," Hermione apologized once more.
"S'alright Hermione," said Aurelia. "And call me Rellie."
"Then call me Jean Bean," Hermione chuckled.
Then they both laughed. A nickname that Aurelia gave Hermione back in second year.
Aurelia and Hermione were sitting in Hermione's bed eating Bertie Bott's Every Flavour's Beans.
"Booger!" Aurelia scrunched up her nose in disgust.
"Poor you, I got marshmallows!" Hermione beamed.
"Way to rub it on my face, Hermione Jean," Aurelia rolled her eyes.
They kept eating the candy until Aurelia abruptly stopped and looked at her best friend with widened eyes.
"I just found out a new nickname for you!" Aurelia declared.
"And what is it, may I ask?"
"Jean Bean! Get it? Bean," said Aurelia excitedly.
"What a horrid nickname!" Hermione shrieked.
"But you don't want me to call you 'Mione. Hermione's a mouthful, Jean Bean! Your name is like a tounge twister!"
"What? That's completely absurd!"
