'That was amazing! We absolutely smashed that, girls!' Leigh-Anne squealed.

Jade smiled, following Leigh-Anne into the girls dressing room. The other girls of the school-dance team followed shortly.

'Yeah, it was good.' Jade said, a proud, but modest look on her face.

'Good?! What do you mean, Thirlwall?' Leigh-Anne, the captain of the dance team and also Jades best friend, grabbed Jades hands and danced around the dressing room, pulling the small brunette with her. 'We were fiery. We were powerful. We were sexyyy! Everything went perfect for the opening assembly of the new school year!'

Jade scoffed. 'Okay, yes it felt amazing! However, you're wrong. I am not sexy. Maybe you and your boyfriend Andre, and the other people on the dance team, but not me.'

Leigh-Anne gasped dramatically. 'Jade Amelia Thirlwall! How dare you say that?! You are gorgeous, hot, and sexy, every second of your life! I... eh even saw your crush staring at your ass, girly!' Leigh-Anne winked and tried to lower her voice for that last part but failed immensely and in about two seconds the entire girl-dance team had surrounded the two.

'Jade has a crush?!'

'The last time that happened was in like... the Stone Age!'

'Who is it? Please tell us!'

'Or just tell us boy or girl?'

'Wait, are they part of the dance team?'

Luckily for Jade, was the entire school aware of the fact that Jade was bisexual. It wasn't a problem but that didn't mean that Jade wanted the school to be informed of her entire love life.

Jade sighed and looked at Leigh-Anne. 'Thanks for that, you absolute moron.' Then she turned to the rest of the girls in the dance team and said: 'I'm sorry everyone but I don't have a crush. Pinnock is lying.'

Jade grabbed her bag and worked her way through the small crowd. It was only when she made it out of there that she'd realised that two members of the dance team hadn't joined the crowd of people who were desperate to know about Jades love life.

Jesy Nelson, the hype woman of the team, known for her humour and well, amazing body. Also, best friend of Perrie Edwards, the second girl still sitting down. Perrie was popular, someone with a very striking personality, humoristic and smart, very intimidating. Both of them were definitely part of the top 5 best dancers in school, and by the way, although Jade didn't think so herself, so were Leigh-Anne and Jade.

Now, Jade and Perrie had never gotten along very well. Both competitive dancers of course. And apart from that they were just very different. Jade was quiet and reserved at first sight, Perrie was loud and very present. Jade liked reading books on Friday nights, Perrie liked partying until she couldn't stand up straight, on Friday nights.

One thing they did have in common was taste. Freshman year, Perrie and Jade both liked the same girl. Back then they were great friends, so they talked about it. They made a deal: whoever gets her first, gets to keep her. Well, Jade got her. Not as a girlfriend but as a best friend, because that girl was Leigh-Anne and Leigh wasn't gay. Still, Perrie was fuming and outed Jade to the entire school. It was a bitch-move but luckily everyone was okay with it, so Jade moved on from it. Now, Leigh-Anne and Jade are still friends. That's why Jade and Perrie are still enemies.

Jade must have been staring at the two for a little too long because Perrie decided to speak up: 'What Jade? Did you expect us to jump at the opportunity to hear about your dull love life? Ha Ha, no thanks.'

Jade rolled her eyes out of annoyance.

'Oh, Perrie shut it!' Jesy said. 'Don't listen to this bitch over here, Jade, she's not worth it. You did great today by the way.' The brunette smiled. Jesy had always been nice to her despite Jades feud with her best friend.
