Luxsoka: A Clone Wars Story

Chapter 11(Edited)

-Ahsoka-

 I want to find Lux, I know that it is a long shot but he is my friend. Or he was my friend? I checked the news and apparently he is joining the senate. I don't want to intrude on his life, but I am unsure if I can live without someone to trust. I don't want to go around not being able to trust anyone and having no one to care about. I need a true friend. So, I took a ship to Corosant, luckily I had enough money to pay for it. I now have a fake ID as Sakura Nizana, I had to wear a hood and put some makeup on but it's worth it. I need to find out where Lux is staying, and I know who can help me. His location is not open to the public, but I know someone who can find it. Ventress may not have the best morals, but I know that she can find Lux for me. I already called her and we are meeting at a local pub. 

The pub was crowded, and not very sanitary. I saw Ventress in a booth, near the corner, time to talk to her. By the way, Ventress doesn't know who I really am. I have a voice changer so she won't notice my voice.

"You must be Ventress. I need you to find someone for me." I told her.

"Yes, that would be me. Do you want a drink or something? Now, who is this someone you want me to find?" She said after taking a sip from her drink.

"No thank you, I don't drink. I need you to find out what hotel Lux Bonteri is staying at."

"That is a difficult task, it will cost you," Ventress says with a serious gaze. 

"How much?"

"45 credits," She said. Right now I have 85, so I can pay her. 

"Deal, but do you know any good parking spots for a hoverbike?"

"If you go down two blocks, and take a left there is a tiny spot where you can park. I don't think anyone will charge you for it, it would be against the law. But then again, no one will uphold that law."

"Alright, I'll give you the money when you send me the address tomorrow. Thank you for your help. Enjoy your drinking" Ventress smiled at my last remark and chugged her drink in response.

"Goodbye, Ms. Nizana," Said Ventress. I left, looking for my hoverbike. I hopped on and went to the parking spot. My hoverbike was relatively big so I could sleep on it. My bag is safe under the bike, and the spot was mostly secure so no one will come looking for it. 

I slept on my bike, for pretty much the whole night. I woke up pretty early and headed for the market. I purchased a little bit of food, and then I went outside the pub. Ventress was waiting there outside for me.

"I found the address. Here is the note. I expect the money in return" She gave me the paper, and sure enough, there was an address. 

"Here are the credits. Thank you for finding the address. I hope to see you again Ventress. Goodbye," I said, giving her the credits. 

"Goodbye Sakura, Good luck on eliminating that Abercrombie boy," Ventress said.

Although, I don't plan to kill Lux.  I do appreciate the good luck, it was very kind of an assassin. When I get to the hotel I can't wait to talk to him. I haven't seen them in a very long time. I remember when Steela died, I hope he won't blame me for it. I have come to peace with Steela's death, I can only hope he has. 

I got on my bike and left for the hotel.

After the recent information, I got I went to the council. They said it was not a lead. How could they! Ahsoka contacted someone, and then they had the audacity to close the case. They said that this wasn't the way for me to heal. They want to send me on a retreat, for more than a few weeks. They want to send me on a retreat for four months. I don't know what I will do without Padme, she said she could visit me a little bit but because of her job. I plan to go to the mountains of Mandalore for my retreat, they are rather pretty.

Obi-Wan talked to the Mandalorians and they allowed me to go on retreat there. Time to get over Ahsoka, which will never happen. Ahsoka will always be a part of me, I just lost her for a little bit.

Edits will be very long because I am rewriting the ending, and I lost a lot of creative juice for this story. I wrote it a few years ago, and sometimes it just makes me cringe. I hope that you(the reader) are getting some entertainment/enjoyment out of this story.
