Luxsoka: A Clone Wars Story

Chapter 12 (Edited)

-Padme- 

Today I am searching for a new handmaiden. One of them resigned a few months ago. This interview is random, but I actually have had it scheduled for a few weeks now. Her name is  Vasara, she seems to be a kind young lady from her profile. Although, what is on a screen is not always the whole truth.

Anakin told me that he was going to leave soon. I will be able to visit him a few times, but not enough. I think that this will be good for him, but not for the smae reasons as the council. I don't want him to forget her, I want him to use his love for Ahsoka as his strength. I believe that if people just let their emotions guide them, they will be in more control than ever before. 

Well, Time to go to the interview!

-Ahsoka-

I am going up the elevator to Lux's floor, hopefully, he will be happy to see me. He won't recognize me at first, but when I take my hood off he will. My disguise hides my montrals and my facial markings. I had to put a ton of makeup on my face, but I can't be found out. I go up to the door and see a plain simple door. I didn't think it would be this difficult! Who am I kidding, confessing your love to someone you haven't seen in at least a year is not easy. I just need to tell him who I am and why I came. Why did I come? How am I going to talk to him, I might as well knock on the door. I knocked on the door.

I hear footsteps! He is coming!

"Hello, Who is this?" he said in his soft voice. It was much deeper now that he had grown older. All I have to do is take off my hood. 

I TOOK IT OFF! 

"It is me, Ahsoka. Can I come into the apartment or do you just want to talk with the security camera's filming everything?" I said, he was not talking. I think he is in shock, what if he faints or something? C'mon, he has to say something!

A few minutes passed and he finally spoke,

"Of course, Come in" He looked a bit starstruck, but he opened the door for me.

I finished my speech, finally! Wait, was that a knock at the door? Might as well answer it, I hope it's not the press.

I opened the door to see a woman in a hood, with most of her skin covered. I could only see her face and some of her neck, her hands were covered by gloves. Her makeup was very pale, yet her facial structure was stunning. Her eyes reminded me of... NO, she is not around anymore. I need to move on. I need to talk to her, otherwise, this would be weird.

"Hello, Who is this?" I asked, I still don't know who this woman is. She then removed her hood and I saw all too familiar montrals, my Ahsoka has returned.
