[ 26th Chapter ]

"Liana, you're such a babe." Emily said in a fake white girl accent making Ruby burst out laughing.

"Awe, honey! Says you, you're like, oh my god!" I replied, flicking my hair over my shoulder. We're currently walking down the hallway in school towards Emily' and Ruby's locker since school was over and they didn't want to have all those books with them at home.

"I love you, baby." Emily winked, and stopped at her locker for about an hour. Or at least it felt like an hour.

"Honey boo." I pulled her in for an embrace once she had put all her stuff in the locker and got her backpack out. "Why is Ruby just laughing and not talking.." I murmured quietly into Emily's ear.

"I can hear you, ya'know?" Ruby mumbled, pulling us apart with a frown on her face. "I was having fun, geesh."

"Okayyy!" I sang, dragging out the word and run down the hallway away from them. I want to go home and sleep, or maybe do my homework... Haha, how about no.

"Liaa!" Kian's voice beamed, grabbing me by the waist and hug me up to him tightly. "Hi," He mumbled, burying his face in my hair.

"Uh, hi, Ki." I awkwardly wrapped my arms around him. "Why are you hugging me?"

"I don't know, missed you!" He stated, pulling away and holding me arm-length away from him.

"Well, you see, I would love to stay and talk but I need to go home.." I trailed off. I felt awkward, Kian, one of my brother's friend is studying me. His eyes glowing brightly as he stares at me.

"Right." He muttered after a moment, releasing me. "I'll see you later." His mouth twitched up in a smile.

"Of course! Bye, Kian!" I kiss his cheeks quickly and walk past him. Wait, did Ruby and Emily leave me? Ugh.

I stood staring at everyone outside the school trying to find anyone, Ricky, Ruby, Emily or even Alec, hell, I would even be happy to see Blain. Anyone. I need a ride home!

Finally to my relief, I found Ricky. Carelessly talking (flirting) with a blonde girl who wore too much makeup for my liking. "Ricky!" I shouted, waving my hands at him.

The blondie looked at me in disgust and laughed at whatever Ricky said. I rolled my eyes and ran to him, he wasn't that far away yet I'm panting and probably sweating like a pig.

"Ric?" I called out again and finally he looked at me.

"What, Liana?"

"I was wondering if you could give me a ride home, but obviously you're too distracted by the slut you're talking to." I snapped, folding my arms.

"Excuse you?" Blondie gasped and narrowed her eyes at me angrily.

"Oops."

"Liana, Jesus. Take the car, whatever, I'll walk home." Ricky's eyes were wide as he threw his carkeys to me. "And don't be mean to such-" Ricky pointed towards the empty place beside him and cut his own sentence off.

"I think I might have made your girl run away.." I mumbled, blasting a wide smile, "And! Thanks for the car, Ricky, I love you, bye." My smile widened at his stern face expression.

Uh oh. That can't be good.

"Lia." Ricky snapped, walking forwards angrily. "Do not even," He snapped again, trying to grab me but with quick reflexes, I got away from him.

I was running away from Ricky as if my life depended on it. My legs moving quicker than ever and my breathing quickening.

Shit he's going to murder me. I didn't even get to tell mum and dad that I love them.
