{ 31st Chapter }

It's been a dreadful week and all I really wanted to do was curl up in bed and sleep for ages, I hate school. I hate everything to be honest. Thankfully though, Ricky nor his friends were home all week which left me home alone with my dad and sometimes my friends, and Trevor at times, he was a douche-bag but he was still my friend.

"Lia!" I heard my best friend's voice call from behind me and I slow down my pace slightly, looking over my shoulder at Emily who intertwined her arm with mine, smiling widely.

"It's already October, Liana. Just a little more until it's Christmas, amazing!" She squealed, her voice becoming high.

"Yeah, yay. I can't wait.." I let my words trail as I rolled my eyes. Christmas wasn't my favourite holiday, in fact, no holiday was, except for summer.

"We'll need to go shopping, man! I can't wait!" She exclaimed, suddenly stopping and tugging me along with her so I was forced to turn and look at her. "You're coming to the party tonight, right?" She whispered loudly.

"No?" I answered questionably which made Emily grin.

"Of course you are. What a stupid question, you'll come over to my house and we'll get ready together, along with Ruby, of course," Emily began ranting about how she had already picked the perfect outfit and at that point I stopped paying attention, nodding my head once in awhile pretending to be listening even though I was staring at Andrew and Kian as they spoke together, they looked angry and almost as if they were about to start fighting each other.

Andrew kept throwing his arms in the air as if to prove a point which made Kian move closer in a furious move and say something. Andrew's hand pushed Kian back slightly and a scowl formed on his beautiful face as his hands clench and unclench, his cheeks puffed as if he was about to explode and at that moment Kian shouted loudly, "You've got no chance in her, you might as well just give up! Alec told you to do so, you should listen to him because.." His voice lowered as he told Andrew whatever they were talking about.

Andrew's fist finally came in contact with Kian's cheek and Kian stumbled back in shock at his friend's action. "He doesn't deserve her anymore than I do!" Andrew screamed, shoving Kian forcefully back.

"What the fuck," I whispered and Emily seemed to have stopped talking to look at the two boys, as were everybody else. "What's happening?" I asked Emily. Emily glanced at me for a split second before walking towards the two boys who were now staring each other down.

"Guys," She said loudly, Kian quickly gazed at her but only to glare at her and stomp off. "What's the matter with you two?" Emily asked, Andrew looked over at her before glancing at me.

"Nothing." He murmured, pushing past us. His shoulder hitting me pretty hard.

"Okay, I would really like to know what the hell is up with my brother so.." Emily trailed off and I nodded, understanding her. Without another word Emily walked the same direction her twin brother had stomped in.

Now I seriously needed answers. As nosy as that sounds, I need to know what was up with them. They're friends. More like brothers. They've been friends since kindergarten.

I quickly gazed at everyone's shocked faces and smiled, heading the same way Andrew had just walked to. "Andrew?" I called once I was at a place I thought he had gone to, the football field.

"Andrew?" I called again, this time I heard someone mumbled a quiet 'yes' and I jumped once I felt an arm around my waist, his breath tickling my neck slightly. "Are you okay?" I asked quietly, licking my lips quickly before pushing his arm off of me to turn to him.
