Chapter 10

"I'm Here! It's been a while, boys and girls! How is everyone?! And the reason for that is... your basic hero training! As an immediate follow-up to your internships, today's activity is a playful one. A rescue-training race!!" All might continues to explain. You keep thinking about your brother who might wake up from the coma soon. 'The sooner he gets up, the better it is for him, because he missed out on a lot of things in life!'

"Shouldn't rescue training be conducted at USJ?!" Iida raised his hand. You notice Midoriya with an excited face on seeing All might.
"Yeah, but All might did say something about a race, didn't he?" You point out.
"That's right. This is Field Gamma. It's a dense spread of factories that wind together to create an intricate network of maze like alleys! You'll split into four teams of five, with each team going at one at a time. Since its uneven number of class, one will be a group of six. Naturally, Keep the destruction of property, to a minimum!" All might points at Bakugou. "Stop pointing at me." Bakugou mumbles. He continues, "I'll send a distress signal from somewhere inside, and you will all start at the border! It's a race to see who can reach and rescue me first!!"
"Okay group one, to your marks." You join Midoriya, Ojiro, Iida, Mina and Sero.
'I clearly can't go first, because Sero and Ojiro, Iida, maybe even Midoriya got this.'

"Start!!"

You rush in on your foot, watching Sero and Midoriya moving overhead. Clearly you can't waste your energy merely on a training trying to stay afloat and to move at a crackling speed using your hands as a booster. Clearly, no. you take the hard way. You speed your way through the maze, climbing the pipes using your axes where appropriate. You find Midoriya moves similar to someone, and watch him slip. You end up just before Midoriya.
"Oi Midoriya, let me help you." You help the mumbling Midoriya with his face down in defeat. "Thanks, Esma. I sure have a lot to learn..." He mumbles again. "And there's plenty of time. Don't work yourself too much." You encourage him. 'No shit, I'm way behind all of you.'
"Sero may have taken first place, but...you've all figured out new and better ways to use your quirk since you started school!! Keep up the work as you prepare for your final exams." All might advises.
'AHH, FINALS ARE COMING....got to binge study everything.'
You return to your classmates and slide next to Shoto after witnessing Bakugou's furious expression. "Shoto...do you happen to know why Bakugou's face is like that?"
"Apparently, Midoriya used Bakugou's moves. That would be the reason." He answers.
"Ah! No wonder I thought they were pretty familiar!"

You tag along with the girls to changing room. You go to your locker and take your uniform out. You remove your hero costume which soon would be ultimately different in the future due to all the addition you're going to make. while you're wearing your skirt. Jirou plugs her earphones into a hole on the world and you hear Mineta scream on the other side. "That perverted dwarf, great job Jirou." You watch her face which is a little pale. You quickly button up your shirt and head to class with others while Momo was going on about plugging the hole.

Back at homeroom;

"Uh...summer vacation's close at hand. Of course, it would be completely irrational for all of you to take a whole month off. You'll be doing a summer training camp in the woods." Aizawa announces.
The entire class yells out fun stuffs to do.
"However...anyone who doesn't pass the upcoming final exams...is in summer school hell, right here." Aizawa finishes his sentence giving everyone a mini heart attack.

"DO YOUR BEST, GUYS!!!" Kiri yells on top of his voice. You smile at this super energetic boy in your class and stare blankly at this grumpy gremlin whispering to himself, "So freaking stupid". 'Classic Bakugou'.

You continue to study before exams knock on your doorstep. 'Dang it, I'm usually good at studying but these days my head is all over the places. Kenzie also got up from his coma, but I didn't get to see him, mom left to America to look after him. Dad's not home these days. Left all alone, I wanted to go with mom, but my exams. Anyhow, I can do it. SUMMER CAMP! KEEP THAT IN MIND!' You do your best and managed to earn the 6th rank in your class.
