Tula sat on the sofa staring at her phone. On her phone was a photo of her and Uncle B. Lily was fast asleep in her room upstairs. Maisie walked into her room and shut the door. She sat down on her bed and sighed.
"I wish I met you Uncle B. I wish you were here so I could thank you for making my mum happy," She said to herself whilst a tear rolled down her cheek.
She picked up her phone off the bedside table and searched for 'Uncle Dappy'. She clicked send message and began to type. More tears ran down her cheeks. She had to stop for a moment to control herself. She then hit send and laid down on her bed.
A few minutes later she recieved a text from Dappy. She held her phone up. She didn't dare see his reply. She pressed the middle button on her Blackberry to open the message.
From Dappy: Ask you're mum if i can come over darling, Uncle Daps xx
Maisie looked relieved. She walked downstairs to where Tula was sat, still staring at her phone. Maisie walked into the kitchen as Tula looked up.
"You alright babe?" Tula said still crying.
"Ye, I'm fine. Uncle Dappy said can he come over? Is that alright?" Maisie asked.
"Oh and mum, I hope you're alright." Maisie added.
"I'm fine babe and tell Uncle Daps he can come over. I'll just go check on Lils," Tula said softley whilst getting up.
"Ok mum, I'll text him now," Maisie replied.
Tula walked upstairs to check on Lilly; who was sleeping safe and sound in her bed. She went to straighten her make-up then went back downstairs to Maisie. Meanwhile Maisie texted Dappy.
To Dappy: Mum says you can come over now, Love you Uncle Daps xx
A few minutes later she recieved a text back from Dappy.
From Dappy: I'm on my way darling and I love you too xx
Tula walked into the kitchen.
"He's coming now mum alright?" Maisie said.
"Alright babe," Tula replied.
Tula sat down on the sofa next to Maisie. She wondered what was going on. She really wanted to ask her daughter but thought she better wait. She logged into twitter.
Tweet: I miss you Uncle B, Wish my daughters could have met you xx
Her interactions blew up. She decided to tweet a few N-Dublets back.
Tweet: RT '@annandubzny: Aww hope you're ok T, love you lots xx' Love you too muffin!x
Tweet: RT '@EmilyDukuNyRita: I bet Uncle B would have loved to meet them too. #staystrong' I bet you're right thanks Muffin! xx
She followed a few N-Dublets and logged out of twitter.
Meanwhile Maisie had also logged into twitter to check what people are saying.
Tweet: I wish i could have met Uncle B. I bet he was an amazing Man! My mum misses you man x
Her interactions also blew up as all the N-Dublets follow her. She decided to reply to a few of them like her mum does.
Tweet: '@StephNyNdubz: You're mum wishes you could have too! Stay strong, He'll be proud of you both!' Thanks alot :) x
She stopped for a minute and thought; My mum wishes? She decided to check Tula's profile and saw her tweet. Her eyes filled up with tears. She logged out of twitter and looked at her mum.
"We both tweeted about Uncle B yanno mum," Maisie told her.
"Really? That just shows we're related! I love you Maze", Tula said surprised.
There was then a knock at the door. Tula went to answer it to find it was Dappy. She invited him in and they all sat down around the table.
"So, whats up then?" Tula asked wondering
"Well, Maisie made her desicion and i thought you'd like to know, from both of us," Dappy replied.
Tula turned to look at Maisie and smiled.
"Ok then, you going to tell me? You know I ain't good at waiting!" Tula said grinning.
"Well," said Maisie pausing, "I'm going to form a band."
Tula looked shocked. She couldn't believe what she was hearing. She hugged Maisie and kissed her head.
"Really? You sure Maze. Aww you remind me of myself!" Tula said starting to cry.
"You ain't heard it all T," Dappy said interrupting.
"What?" Tula asked looking confused.
"I think it would be easier if i read the text Maisie sent me." Dappy said pulling out his phone.
He opened his messages and found the message from Maisie whilst Tula and Maisie sat there waiting.
"So, i'll begin. Uncle Dappy thought i'd text you regarding your offer. I'd also like to make my own. So here goes; I was talking to my mum and she was telling me about what Uncle B did for you, her and Uncle Fazer. I was thinking about Uncle B and how much he meant to you and i think he's alot like my mum. She means so much to Me, Gino and Leo. She wants us all to do well just like Uncle B. I think she should manage the band. The band that i want to join. She'd be great at it. She's caring and loving, but also firm and strict when she wants to be. I udnerstand if you wanted to manage the band but I really want you to consider my opinion. I feel that she needs to do this as a way to thank Uncle B. I love you so much Uncle Daps. Maisie xx"
Tula, Maisie and Dappy all sat in silence for around 5 minutes. Tula decided to speak even though she was finding it hard.
"Maisie. I love you so f**king much. I hope you know that babe," She said hugging Maisie.
"Well T, I've been thinking. Would you like to you know, manage the band like Uncle B did," Dappy asked
Tula looked up. She was shocked.
"You mean that Daps? You really mean that? I'd love to, more than anything in the world. Thank you so much. I'd also like to make you assistant manager as I'm always the boss!" Tula replied.
"Poisiton accepted," Dappy said laughing.
"I wish I could have met Uncle B," Maisie said sighing.
"You don't need to, you know why? 'Cos you're alot like him Maisie" Dappy said smiling.
Maisie smilied. She felt proud to be compaired to the great Uncle B.
"Anyway Maze, I'll leave you to talk to your manage eh," Dappy said winking "and Maze, watch out she can be one b*tch!"
"Oi Mr!" Tula said laughing.
Dappy left and Maisie and Tula went to sit on the sofa. Tula was smiling. Maisie was smiling.
"Maze, what made you change your mind?" Tula asked wondering.
"Well what you said about Uncle B and also I wrote a song that could do with some male vocals!" Maisie said laughing.
"You little, Haha! Can i hear it?" Tula replied
"Well I don't know, you're my manager now and might think i'm rubbish!" Maisie responded.
"Haha, give over!" Tula said laughing.
So Maisie joined the band. Tula became a manager. Will Maisie manager like her song? What will the boys think when they hear the news? Are they really the next N-Dubz?
