Forgetting the Rest. _____________________________________________________________________________
I'm sitting in darkness as I hold my blade
taking my final breath,
as my life is about to fade.
I'm thinking about a princess
to come save my day,
but that's not gonna happen
as my life drifts away.
I'm slowly killing myself
as my knife cuts my skin
cutting so terribly
deep within.
My heart is on fire
but my blood is so thin,
I'm letting go of life
because of this knife.
My life was way to hard
to see before the dangers and misery's
of love is not to far away
but the most difficult thing to say
is the end is just minutes away.
As crimson blood drained down my arm
it was nothing compared to the way I was harmed.
When I was done with my arm,
I took my blade up to my chest,
adverting all the harm,
I knew it was for my best,
to forget all the rest.
