You told me to move, yet you suspected me,
You told me to keep silent, yet you distrust me.

You told me to have principles, yet you accused me for being stiff,
You told me to be tolerant, yet you said that I’m wishy washy.
What should I do?
You told me to move forward, yet you tripped my feet,
You told me to work, yet you disturbed me.
What do you mean?
You told me to believe in God, yet your preach made me sick,
You asked me to follow you, yet your footsteps are shattered.
What should I do?
You told me to obey the law, but you're looking down on it,
You told me to be discipline, yet you ain’t walk the talk.

You told me that God is close, yet you keep calling Him aloud,
You told me to love peace, yet we are never at ease.

When I bulid it up, you tear it down,
When I save it in, you spent it out.

You told me to work on my land, yet you build houses on it,
You told me I supposed to have house, yet you demolish it.

You forbade me from gambling, yet your speculation turned out right,
You told me to be responsible, yet you are uttering “only God knows”.

You told me to be honest, yet you deceived me,
You told me to be patient, yet you blamed me.
What should I do?
You told me to elect you to represent me, yet you act all as you wish,
You said you’d always think of me, yet you’re annoyed when I greet you.

You told me to talk, yet you said it’s too much,
You told me to shut up, yet you said I was apathetic.
What should I do?
You told me to criticize, yet you are angry when I criticized you,
You told me to seek the alternatives, yet you told me not to dictate your actions.
What do you mean?
When I said it’s up to you, you don’t want to,
When I said it’s up to us, you aren’t pleased;
When I said it’s up to me, you mad at me.
