He didn't know why he even gave her hope. He was just going to ghost her. Or maybe, he could use her. Lead her somewhere where the Ninja were expecting him. He smirked slightly. That was a good idea. She should be careful not to upset him or he will do just that. He could use her in so many ways. But he wasn't a cheater. 

He realized why her name was familiar and it was because she was the princess of Ninjago. Sure she wasn't that well known since the kingdom was so secretive, but their names were known. But just because she was a princess doesn't mean she gets special treatment. He didn't care about her. He didn't care about her team. He didn't care about anyone except (Y/n). And right now, he needed to make sure she was ok.

He entered Ninjago City and kept his hood up. He forgot to bring his disguise so he had to be careful. He even flipped his hoodie inside out so no one could see the skeleton ribs painted on it. Thankfully, the night sky faded with clouds shadowed his blonde hair that peaked out/ The night also cloaked his face. He wasn't in the bright part of the city. His apartment wasn't in the main part.

He walked down the street and got to a part where it decides. One way was to where his apartment was. The other led to a few other apartments with a dead end. At the end of the road, he saw two figures. His beloved and a man attempting a kidnap.

His blood boiled. His fists clenched. He ran over quickly, the air pushing his hood back. He kicked the man in the side which made him hit the wall next to them. The streetlight revealed his identity which made the man get scared. The man got up and ran away quickly. He looked over at his love. She was shaking. Terrified of him. 

He smirked and put his hand on her cheek. She flinched and froze up. " I'm not going to hurt you." He whispered, rubbing his thumb on her cheek. " W-w-why did you s-save me?" She weakly asked, clenching the end of her shirt. " All will be answered soon." He replied vaguely. " Are, are you t-trying to be good?" " Fuck no." He laughed. " Never."

She was about to ask anything questioned but he pulled his hand away. He lifted his hood back up. " Until next time. (Y/n)." He jumped onto the wall and onto the apartment buildings. She stared at him as he jumped away. She gulped and ran away. She ran to the house she was going to anyway. Li's.

She knocked on the door and waited. He jumped then he heard someone knocking. He quickly changed and put on his hair clips and new clothes. He opened the door, " (Y/n)? What's w-" " Lloyd," She panted. "I saw Lloyd Garmadon." He acted surprised and let her in. He set her on the couch and gave her water. She thanked him and took a sip. " So, tell me. What happened?"

She explained the events that happened not even 5 minutes ago. He nodded and listened, pretending this was the first he heard of it. " So Lloyd just jumped in and saved you? Then he already knew your name?" He questioned. She nodded, " Yeah. I thought maybe he is trying to be good or something happened to him dealing with kidnapping so he just hates it. But then he knew my name so I don't know what." She sighed.

He listened to her talk for a while. Coming up with false theories on why he saved her and making up explanations. " You know, he still could be out there. It's not safe to go back out. I can lend you some of my clothes and you can stay here the night." He suggested. " Oh, no. I don't want to be a burden. It's ok." She smiled. " No really. I don't want you hurt. Lloyd Garmadon is highly dangerous and probably is still around." He put his hand on her shoulder.

She looked to the side before looking back at him. She smiled once again, " Fine. Thanks, Li." He nodded, " No problem." He got up and went to his room. He grabbed shorts that were getting too small for him and a T-shirt. He walked back over to her and gave them to her. He led her to the bathroom. She thanked him again and went inside. 

She walked out in his clothes and he thought she was so fucking cute in them. His need and love for her grew. He didn't know how much longer he could stand not having her as his. She sat on the couch. He made popcorn and took out a few bags of candy for them to share. He also got two sodas. He sat down next to her and put the snacks and drinks down. 

" Li, you're honestly the best person in the world." She smiled as they picked out a show to watch. " Thanks, that means a lot." " Thanks for, allowing me to stay the night and being so kind to share your food." He looked at her, " Any time (Y/n). You are always welcomed in my home." He nudged her, " You goof." She laughed and nudged him back. " You weirdo!" The two shared a laugh before settling down to watch the show. Happy with each other's presence.
