As Techno messaged his friends, Eret practically dragged him over to the cashier. That's where they met their co-worker, Niki. Looking up from his phone, Techno grabbed the dress that was tucked under his arm. He thought a bit and hesitated to put it on the counter, scared of what the cashier would think. Noticing his hesitance, Eret greeted Niki, hoping Techno would get the idea.
"Hey, Niki! How is everything going?"

The girl smiled and she seemed friendly. If Eret was friends with her, she couldn't be so bad right? Feeling a little more better about the girl, he slowly put the dress onto the counter.
"Hello, Eret! I take this fellow is Technoblade?"

She asked in a curious tone.

"Oh Yes! You got it right! Techno, this is my co-worker, Niki!"

Techno did a little wave towards her and she did the same. Niki grabbed the dress and she held it up to look at it. Anxiety clawed at Techno, wondering what she was thinking. It wasn't long before Techno got his answer.

"Wow! Is this yours Eret? It's so pretty!"

Eret, about to respond, instead found himself listening to Techno, confirming that it wasn't Eret's, but his. They could both see that Niki's eyes filled with amazement.

"Really?! I bet it looks amazing on you!"

Techno blushed from embarrassment, not expecting the sudden compliment.

"Oh yeah, Niki! We're having a make-shift runway show back at my house! Wanna join?"

She did a little thinking and soon gave her answer.

"That sounds like so much fun! I'm almost done with my shift so I'll just scan this and I'll see you at your house, ok?"

Eret nodded, grabbed the bag that held the dress after being scanned, and handed it to Techno. They walked out of the mall, stopping for some smoothies on their way out. They continued on their journey to Eret's car, becoming closer friends than when they first drove to the mall.

They made it to the car and settled down. Eret puts their keys into the ignition and Techno feels the car vibrate from the engine turning on. Eret pulled out of their parking spot. Techno, being so mentally exhausted from the amount of human interaction, decided that he was going to take a nap.

The cloudy sky and soft music coming from the radio helped him drift off to the land of dreams. Eret noticed that he fell asleep and made the decision to let him take a break.

Techno woke up to the sound of Eret's voice, asking him to wake up. He rubbed his eyes sleepily and listened to what they were saying.

"Wake up sleepyhead! We're at my house!"

He opened the door, stretching once he got out, and closed the door behind him. He walked over to Eret and waited for him to pull out his home keys. Eret walked to the front door, Techno right behind them. They put the key in the lock and turned.
