The two children lay on the cold glass, the sky above them is hallow black and decorated with many twinkling stars.
Tonight the moon and the clouds which look like fluffy smokes are gone, and because of the wonderful view the two decided to just take a breathe from all the hiding and running to watch the endless abyss above them.
"adam...I-If you are given a chance t-to go somewhere...w-where d-do you want to go?"iruma shyly ask suddenly, breaking the silence they both enjoy.
After not getting a reply from adam, he glance at the pink boy, he saw that those eyes are close however because of his fingers that are caressed, Iruma know that he isn't asleep.
So he take a deep breath, and try again"l-like w-where do yo—"
"If i can i will like to go to the tallest building on earth" adam answer as he slowly open his eyes and gaze at the twinkling stars. Iruma who is delighted to have converstaion with adam, roll his body to the side so he can properly face adam.
"why do you wanted to go there?"the gap between the two of them are small yet to iruma that gap is wide, and It is hard to close in, It made him feel that like adam is far from his reach.
"so if i jump down....I can look at the sky, watch the clouds slowly move or the watch how the sky turn orange because of the sunset, and instead of remembering my life I would see those image, the stars, the color of the sky and the cute clouds. It will be a peaceful memory before I experience the pain of hell"at that soulful reply Iruma become spechkess and sad, he then notice adam's eyes, It is staring painfully at the dark sky, as if looking something that brought him misery then close it and sigh.
'all this time he....'the raven boy though as he continue to gaze at adam'even thought I'm here, he look in so much pain and loneliness'
Those realization made iruma clench his fist and feel his heart painfully ache so instead of saying words that will comfort the pink boy he reach out his hand to stroke adam's face, a way he knew that will ease the pain of the pink beauty more than any words yet he stop his hand mid air as adam open his eyes once more, and instead of it looking at the sky. It was gazing right at iruma's eyes.
It catch him off guard, he blush 'he look so beautiful underneath the moonlight...'At that moment the heart ache he felt disappears, then replaces with warm.
"I always wanted to die ever since papa left me, because It felt like why i should live if all those i know and believe in are gone—"Once again, Iruma wanted to embrace and make adam's pain disappear.
"—but when I'm at that point where i know i will die, i heard them....mama telling me i should run and hide, papa whispering i should fight and do not give up..." adam then surpise iruma by reaching his hand that is about to caresses his pale pinkish face and place it gently to his cheeks.
"and i also met you"adam roll his body to raven's boy side to properly face iruma and slide closer until there just a finger gap between them.
There legs tangle up together, both of them felt each other body heat. Adam sigh in content and place his forehead against iruma's, the raven cheeks are flaming red because of the intimate touch. 'w-wha— his so c-close...adam smell so—agghhhhh, suzuki iruma snap out of it!'
The beauty close his eyes, while iruma continues to stare at the beauty's face. "you become one of my sole reasons I try so hard to survive each day and night.... so i could have a chance to eat your terrible cooking and see you smile and laugh...without you i might have gone off in the wrong path"iruma eyes twinkle, he never knew that, he doesn't know adam seen him as his savior
Because that was what he thought of adam, with him everything seems become more lively, more valuable and because of adam he never feel lonely.
Not knowing what to do with his feelings, iruma suddenly hugs adam tightly, the beauty blinks. His eyes almost burst out of his socket because the moment he open his eyes the first thing he saw was iruma's teary eyes.
'oh boy...'
"me too, i feel that with adam everything will become alright... i like it when you always hold my hands, i like it when you jokes around with me, i like it when you suddenly show up and i like everything we do adam"the tears keep falling from iruma's eyes.
"because of you i never feel lonely, so please, if i have to i will beg, always continue thinking what would i feel if you die, if i lose you" the hug loosen then iruma's hand went to adam's cheek once again. "i will cry and feel empty if i lose you"
Adam's heart tremble from all those words, and nameless feelings brewing inside of him. he was shaking as he place his hand on top of iruma.
He smile, a warm and gentle smile "thats not fair, ruru-chan"he whisper. "not fair at all"
Iruma laughs while adam pout, the two stay close by each other that night, yet as the morning comes adam left.
Iruma woke up alone however there's a letter beside him and inside of it a secret coded written on the paper. 'no matter what ruru-chan, i will do everything to protect you, even that means i have to be away from you. I will met you when its safe'
Iruma sigh. "i never felt safe because you aren't here,"he mumble to himself as he fold the paper gently and place it to the other letters he reiceve from the beauty.
Somewhere far, and deep inside the woods, adam sigh. "ah fuck this, i miss you already"
For the two of them that night is like a dream, a hint of what they truly feel yet to young to understand what it was slowly as the time pass by the two haven't met for three months so that night become a blur but never forgotten.
